When the Coronavirus shut down their respective bands within weeks of their marriage, their musical collaboration began as means of maintaining sanity and their connection to fans. “Quarantunes” (as they dubbed their first Facebook live stream) debuted the yet unnamed duo performing their favorites and the requests of their social media friends.
Although Marion and Calvert have shared the stage as peers with dozens of artists through their decades of combined musical careers, they approach their duo name with tongue in cheek. They claim that by calling themselves The B-Listers, they set the bar lower and occasionally exceed expectations… These two might scoff at their “sorta fame” but their fans old and new are excited about the prospect of this new duo.
