Best nine darter at the Matchplay for me will always be the one from Taylor in 2014, but my favourite is definitely Andersons in 2018. You can see the determination in their eyes, they would never miss.
Amazing that only two players who’ve hit 9 darters in the Tournament are still actively playing on the PDC Tour. MVG and Anderson, the rest have either retired or lost form.
Awesome how another player hugs you for throwing a nine-darter against him. Imagine a football player hugging the opponent after a goal. :D (Yes, I know, this comparison is flawed)
I've had the privilege to be be sat in the crowd for two of them. MvG v Beaton and Taylor v Smith. The MvG one was the loudest I've ever heard the Winter Gardens.
Wasnt the first televised nine darter paul lim was the first at lakeside john lowe did one against keith deller before that but it was recorded but wasnt shown on tv
For me, a 9 darter, is harder, then a 147 in snooker, or a hole in one, in golf. 9 darter, is an amazing thing, and its why its so rare. Even though people these days get more and more of them, as people have learned upto 90% of the mechanics of throwing a dart. Would be interesting, when loony humans create a robot who can throw, a 9 dart finish, a 147 in snooker, or a hole in one in golf. I wonder which one would be harder for a robot to learn? All three things should be something, a robot with ai, should be able to learn, as humans know about 90% of the mechanics that goes into these sports now. I doubt humans can work out exactly 100% of the mechanics, but all three sports, ie darts, snooker, and golf, should be able to be played by robots. I would think the 9 darter for humans is hardest, but its questionable for a robot which would be that hardest, as all are based on mechanics, and humans by and large can only work out about 90% of the mechanics of things like sports that are based on mechanics. Like i said, probably for humans 9 dart finish, is one of the hardest for humans to do in terms of sporting achievement. Whether that will be like that for robots with ai, its questionable.
PDC must have been thinking 'thank god Pipe is in one of the clips now it's much easier to get to 10 minutes'
Lol he’s ish too
Will be great to see the matchplay this year, we can use some distraction
The commentary on Barneys 9 darter has always been my favourite 😁 So much emotion!
Taylor's was the first live 9 dart finish on British TV. The late Shaun Greatbatch had earlier done it live on Dutch TV.
Nah.. Legend John Lowe done it first on tv
@@FFAMILYEsportChannel Not live.
Was that Gary Anderson on the thumbnail 😁
Have you played against Gary recently by any chance?
Hey Edgar I love your vids Edgar nation all the way would love a reply
Funny you should mention that yes I have but I don’t like to mention it too much. But I won with a 170 finish 😁
Hey Karen 👋
You can see in Anderson's eyes, that the last three darts will reach their goal.
Best nine darter at the Matchplay for me will always be the one from Taylor in 2014, but my favourite is definitely Andersons in 2018. You can see the determination in their eyes, they would never miss.
Goosebumps from this
9 darter video without wade? WOW!
Pity there won't be a crowd at this years matchplay, its what makes the 9 darters special!
p.s freddy flintoffs reaction always makes me laugh hahahah
F.F.'s call is the most annoying one in my opinion.

How rare it was back then to throw a nine-darter that you got £100000 for it.
It was the first time English television could show a nine darter live

Blackpool crowd always have the best reactions to 9 darters, especially the Anderson one in 2018
I've had the privilege to be be sat in the crowd for two of them. MvG v Beaton and Taylor v Smith. The MvG one was the loudest I've ever heard the Winter Gardens.
I'm supposed to be working but 9 darters are always worth a watch 👍
Surprised the whole 10:04 vid wasn’t just the Newton 9 darter with Justin Pipe being involved 👀
#SKYSPORTS MICHAEL "AMAZING" VAN GERWEN! 🇳🇱
#SKYSPORTS "THERE YOU GO" TAYLOR 🇬🇧
Paul Lim and John Lowe they were the best 9 darters! 🙂
Half this video was Justin Pipe throwing 9 darts 😂😂
0:55 never seen on live television? Paul Lim ???
In the PDC probably
I was thinking Taylor had hit another 2 against Wade, but that was the Premier League right?
Yes he hit two against James wade at the premier league dart championship
They say every 9 darter at the matchplay, John Lowe hit the first ever 9 darter at the matchplay, even though it was before the brand split
'Rod Harrington's wet himself!'
That never goes outta style!
John lowe had the first 9 on tv
Best venue in Darts 🎯😍
Wasnt the first televised nine darter paul lim was the first at lakeside john lowe did one against keith deller before that but it was recorded but wasnt shown on tv
That was not the first 9 live on TV. The first one didn't happen in a PDC competition. Shaun Greatbach was the one.
Five of the greatest players of all time and Wes Newton.
How many 9 darters have you hit at The World Matchplay? I didn't see your name on this list.
@@jamieshannon9809 Did you really just reply to a month old comment to defend Wes Newton? you need a hobby son.
@@oasis6583 Maybe his hobby is to defend Wes Newton on the internet xD

Maybe Keegan Brown will throw a 9 Darter today.
Wade don't like that.

Phil Taylor wasn't the 1st to hit a 9 darter live on TV
Perhaps they meant the first one in the PDC
First on PDC and first live in English television
And this year no spectator😪
