Keep the nail . The most important thing is know ahead of time uses for your items and How to use them . One thing I think you may want is either a self threading needle or at least thread one . Remember when you need it condition probably aren’t going to be ideal . Think about Keep up the good work . If you helped one person you time was well spent.
Nice setup and video. I really like that lighter, tiny glow stick, and flash light 👍🏻 Nice matches and striker placement. Trick candle, clever. Now here are just some thoughts - Personally I’d lose the nail, takes more time to use than it would to break through/pass it, suggest larger objects to obstruct like a chair back, couch, shelving etc. Even a sort of door wedge for the floor. As for the antiseptic, create a second dedicated and clearly marked tin for it and the eye drops, band aids etc. Med Tin. Carry both separately or held together by the ranger bands. Be careful about that magnet getting too close interfering with the compass’s polarity. Cool video man. 😎 Keep up the good work. “Improvise, adapt, and overcome”
Thanks for the suggestions. A separate medi tin is definitely possible but in the context of this "challenge", it is a single tin. But I should explore a medi tin in future. Thanks!
Very nice Urban Survival Tin! Check out Brightstrike LED lights. Would fit much better than the olight….making room for other survival gear. I subbed your channel. Thanks for posting.
I REALLY would like to know how you made the mini eyes drops?? I’m sure it was made from a larger vial , bottom cut off & sealed back together, but my concern would be how the drops are affected if container is heat sealed closed???
Pretty solid loadout. Only thing I can mention is the Leatherman Squirt has been discontinued and is pretty much unavailable now. Any alternatives in that size range you would recommend?
I personally would track down a Squirt on the secondary market. If not, the Micra can do if younare willing to trade the pliers for the scissors. The closest alternative is the Gerber Dime. It is cheaper but the quality is not as good in my opinion. It is slightly larger than the Squirt but not really an issue. The main problem is the bottle opener that sticks out of one end. If I really had to use that for a Survival Tin, I would cut and grind that bottle opener off.
Most mobile phones have compasses built in now, so the compass could be swapped out maybe. The other trouble is that your neodymium magnet will definitely cause the compass to become meaningless over time.
I think that the issue is once your phone is busted or run out of battery, you have no means of navigation. I would ditch the magnet first. Thanks for watchjng and sharing your thoughts!
Actually it will not. It will affect the reading of the compass if you try to read it if the Magnet is near, but it does not destroy the compass. To use the compass, set it clear from metal and the magnet. Wait a while and it will work. Thanks for your comment!
WARNING: if your light or kit has a button battery, be very, very careful around kids. Many know they are a risk, but don’t know how bad they are….even if a toddler is seen eating it and removed surgically without delay, they are so toxic the child can still die of organ failure after a weeks long rough ICU course. Plus they are candy sized, and it just takes a minute of inattention to be fatal.

I like the idea of having a separate med tin

You can buy prepackaged individually sealed drops amzn.to/3XOAfqE But I do trim off the excess plastic.
This is a very helpful item.
Thank you!
Wow, amazing idea bro⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

@@urbanknifeguy Thanks so much. Awesome kit!
OMG, there are so many things in that tiny container. 😲😲😲
Haha thanks?
What are you planning to hammer the nail with?
Really depends on the location. But it would be something that can be found, if available. Paperweight, furniture parts, lamp base, hammer? 🤣

4:50 your compass will be destroyed by anything magnetic in your tin. It will no longer point north.
