Hey Tom, Your video was quite impressive and informative. I have a quick question. How to print 36-point or larger font expiration date label that must be applied on the shipping box ? Please let me know. I am stuck at the phase? Please guide thanks!
Hi Sir, I hope you are well. I have a question regarding the beauty category & expiration date on the shipment plane, l am sending inventory to amazon and amazon require me for expiration date but the product doesn't have expiry date. My manufacturer is also saying no expiry date, in this case I would like to have you opinion.
@@FastTrackFBA Thanks - that's strange because if it's a PAO then technically it never expires until it is opened. Since Amazon still requires an expiry date, as long as the symbol is on the packaging and clearly visible, they will automatically assign an expiry date on it correct? So technically no expiry date is required when using the PAO symbol as per my understanding. Does the PAO symbol also need to be on the Master Carton somewhere? The seller central pages doesn't really discuss these details regarding PAO in detail.
@@FastTrackFBA But Amazon marks those products and eligible and expired if they drop under the 900 day mark. How do people survive this if they are just sending inventory back to us if it expires in two years?
Thank you for that video. Regarding beauty products that don't have expiration date but an open lid with 12. Should I print a label with a t lid-12 and put it on too before sending them to amazon?
Hey Tom, great video! So for cases where you got the same product but with 2 different expiring dates. You can keep the same ASIN but create different SKUs, then sale the one with the most closest expiration date first and turn off the one with longest date. Do you mean close the listing of the later? Thanks
Thank you very much for this video, Tom! I'm slightly confused now - if, say, tea or coffee has an expiration date on them and this date is clearly visible through the transparent polybag, do I still need to put another label on the polybag with the expiration date on it? Could you please clarify? Thanks!
Hi there. Thanks for the info. If I am looking to send 20 products to FBA, of which 2 of them have an expiry date attached- do I need to send those 2 items in a separate box of their own and put an expiry label on the box? And what if those 2 items have 2 different expiry dates? Surely I don’t have to separate them again?? Thanks!
Hi Tom, Great video! I don’t understand two bits… The bit you say about everything must have an 18 month shelf life. What is this in relation too? It seems to contradict everything else you said in the video or I might just not get it (I’ve rewatched a few times). How would you label an expiry date on the outside of a product that’s polybagged or bubble wrapped? I’m in the UK and I thought the FNSKU covers that as we enter it at shipment. Sorry for the number of questions, I just want to get it right. I also have a discovery call for a VA booked with your team later today 😀 Thank you and keep doing the videos.
Hi Richy! Wow, thank you for booking a call! How did it go so far? 18 months basically is like the safe zone to make sure that an item is still good to sell on Amazon if they have an expiration date. In terms of your 2nd question, you can talk to your suppliers first to be aware of the expiry dates.

2 years from today
@FastTrackFBA thank you for your reply, let's say if I mention 2 years and I don't put label for 2 years on the product is it will be fine?
Hello so what about exp.dates for beauty products? They don't have exp date only after opening.Should I guess exp date for it?
Nope, most of the time we asked our suppliers on the exp dates and basically it should be two years

Yes. :)
What about products that are expired after opening? For example a face serum that says expires 6 months after opening..
I would simply put a date on them as if the where not opened, IE 1 or 2 years

I can barely hear you. you need to speak louder. you seem to have good info but, it was annoying to see you almost whispering to yourself.
sure! Will thank note of that
