Excellent video, thank you. I have only recently discovered Lepin having had my son buy me the VW Camper Van to keep me busy during convalescence from a knee replacement. Like others, I've been eying the Shuttle and after watching this will have no qualms about saving well over a hundred quid and adding the Lepin one to my growing collection.

Absolutely .. but bear in mind that you do need to compensate for any small parts missing.. a small point but worth noting... thanks for you comments and seasons greetings... enjoy ..

Nice review, I recently got the Lepin version and am really happy with it. The Lepin version is a copy of the Lego shuttle Expedition (10231) and the Lego kit you compared it to is the Lego shuttle Adventure (10213). The Lego Expedition shuttle doesn't have the covers on the wheels and has the same cargo bay door design as the Lepin one. There are other differences between the Adventure and Expedition sets - such as the way the solid rocket boosters attach to the fuel tank.

No problem, I was looking everywhere for a comparison video before I got my Lepin model, nice to see one on TH-cam!

There are a few Kazi and Gudi space sets I'm looking into buying, but there are hardly anything on youtube for them. I just want to build up a good space collection for when the new lego space theme comes out. I might think about getting the lepin version you have too. I want a good collection so I can mix em up and make mocs to make an interesting display piece. Thanks for the video.

In my eyes, Lego has stopped being a brand for children, and has become a friend of the scalper vulture resellers, and now has become a brand that caters only to connoisseurs and collectors, and not really for hobbyists and children.
I mean, when the first snd second releases of the Lego Saturn V came out, the very next day, all of it's stock at the only lego store in my country, had been sold out, and had been posted for sale for three times the price.
And elitist lego groups that will outright cyberbully you on social media, and they themselves abuse the lego brand name to make money out of it as if it was a luxury item.
Plus the fact that lego usually has a two year average of keeping a certain set available until it is discontinued just adds to the issue for the scalpers to take advantage of.
It's a long way since i built the lego Trainer Plane as a kid.

You can pour peroxide into a small tub and put your bricks into it and let it set in the sun for 3 hours and it will make them as good as new. Just stir them up often to keep the color from changing on the edge when they float.

I finally brought this lepin, just because it's so much cheaper in my country.
This Lego version is almost 500 bucks compare to the lepin that only 48 bucks, insane..

Thanks for the comparison, I just purchased this to go along with my Lego Saturn V. I just finished building the new Millennium Falcon from Lepin and I have to say that it is almost perfect (9 out of 10 in my opinion). The bags are actually numbered with no fit issues and I had no missing parts. The only issue was the blue engine tubing was in two halves but you do not notice it. Time will tell how their bricks hold up to fading and bowing but I do not see anything that give me concern.

Yea thanks for the nice comments, yep I'm interested as to how long the bricks from china will last.. its said that they use a different plastic that is not as stable as lego... but time will tell.. thanks again

There are vids showing the difference between lego and china bricks.
Lego wins hands down but they are a much bigger company and can afford much better quality stuff.

Yeah most of the time you don't get the original box - Sometimes a Seller will send the Set in it's original MISB.
I've got 2 Ausini Trains and 2 GBL-Gaobole trains. I'm not into boxes myself and I hope I didn't pay more just because Seller added it.

You may as well call Lego fake because it was invented by Kiddicraft which Lego never paid any royalties nor patent costs.

LEGO invented only the tubes under the bricks, plus new shape parts thereafter.

    • @epicnipple8746

They also copied a plastic brick system from Elgo (yeah the same four letters), a division of Halsam Co. a toy manufacturer in Chicago.

BrickToyTrains. But it's about being the best, not first. And also, that is no longer relevant since average people have no idea what kiddicraft was
