Insomniac is one of the greatest late night shows ever!!!! Such a simple fun concept.
It really was a great show. I miss it.
I loved Insomniac. He'd do a set, get drunk and explore U.S. cities. He's still funny now, but he was a riot when he was drunk

Dave Attell is one of the funniest ever and , probably, the most under appreciated.
And Norm is drastically overrated. He was funny quite some time ago. So what ? So was Joe Piscopo and dozens of others.
Every comic calls him one of the best. Not under appreciated by those who matter.

Dave Attell last special hit crossed buns is the best of all time. His skanks for the memories special will have you crying inside 5 minutes. Real comedian and only getting better.
I’m one of those guys he was talking about watching insomniac. I was in HS, stayed up a little late and gave him a chance. He’s made me laugh ever since. And Mitch Hedberg? Just hysterical.
Similar for me, though I was in my early 20s. I got off work at 11 most nights, came home and played EQ while watching Imsomniac, Conan or MXC. High asf ofc lol.

Dave is one of my favorite comedians. He seems unaware of his greatness. He is a comedian because it's just who he is. And I am grateful for him. ❤ Thanks guys

I watched every episode of "Insomniac" aka "Late Nights with Dave Attell" on Comedy Central.
I loved that show.
That was cool hearing about Bill Hicks.
& Headburg.
Hicks was funny but a bit of a crank with the conspiracies.
Attell was absolutely hilarious on Kill Tony. Perhaps the best guy at the table ever. Totally gets the whole KT vibe. Spade just sat there catatonic but it did not matter because Attell was so funny. 😊

Pro tip: if Dana and David or any of their guest for some reason have to talk to Bill Maher, to avoid having Bill trampling over your comments, always preface your statements by expressing to Bill that you think he is so funny. This will shut him up long enough and allow you to say something without being interrupted. Thank me later.

Attell is such a great comedian. I got to see him at The Tabernacle with Mitch Hedberg 20 years ago. Man that was a Hell of a show!!!

I, like many people, loved Insomniac. It was a late night show that reminded me of films that I grew up loving like After Hours.
i saw dave attell at pickwick and frolic in cleveland back in like 2013. I love his stuff. been a fan for years. his laugh is infectious.

I was at the old Riviera Hotel and Casino here in Vegas back in 2003, watching a comedy show. I don't remember which comedians were performing, but Dave Attell was there! I never heard of him previously. He really killed it!!! I wanna see Dave in concert again the next time he comes to Vegas!!! I had been waiting for Road Work - Part 2, where he performs at different comedy shows in different cities, like he did in the first Road Work. He, instead, gave us Hot Crossed Buns, on Netflix! Great show! And i must say one more thing... MO KETCHUPS!!!

Dave is the comics favorite comic for a good reason. He just bangs out jokes so fast and hits every single like a master. Young comics should watch a and learned from him. Who doesnt love Atell❤? Everyone should support Trump and see him when he comes to town

I appreciate that you guys addressed how cold Kill Tony is-both physically and emotionally. That was the therapy I needed to recover from those haunting hours of my life watching the only episode I will ever watch of that nightmare. It bothers me that those younger male comics, who clearly have a lot to learn, didn’t respect you two more. 😡
Well, watching one episode isn't great research. After watching a lot of KT shows, if one is fair they will notice Tony being very supportive of sincere, humble comedians, not tolerating arrogant or self-centered and lazy comedians, appreciative of his guests, very quick and smart with his commentary, obviously roasting the amateurs ( with his tough love ), Non-PC, kicking comedians off when they are wasting the show's time, generously inviting certain comics with promise to open for him, and, yes, having his moments where he's being mean / not funny. He plenty respected Dave and David. If you don't find him funny, that's one thing, but your one-episode-judgment-conclusion is very superficial.
Love all the Larry "Bubbles" Brown talk. Guy is one of the funniest people ever and so damn nice.
I can't wait to wake up for this one. But I will ❤

Roseanne has been on KillTony many times, gets the format, and still is more positive and openly supportive in her comments.
Doesn't mean she's a bad match for the show, because Tony is a roaster, roasts comedians at the mic, and still will compliment them if they have talent and did a decent job with their jokes. He doesn't sugarcoat it when the jokes weren't well thought out or written well. Attell is perfect for the show with his quick zingers, Spade was overwhelmed, but his quips were funny when he got them in there.
