Good point. In general - yes, the colors by default are more vibrant. However, shooting in D-LOG M will help. Personally I would use D-LOG all the time due to wider possibilities of post-editing. What do you think about LOG?

I was considering the ace pro or the action 4 but now the action 5 is out as well as ace pro 2. For someone that doesn't have an action camera yet, what would your recommendation be? I cannot answer for the 2nd question, because I own multiple cameras. But regarding Ace Pro 2 - there are too much rumors regarding different issues with fogging of the screen and also very problematic support channel. This is the reason, why I don't want to cross my path with Insta360 for now. At least, regarding Ace Pro 2.

I heard on a forum that the DJI action 5 pro stops and stops recording at 25 mins and re starts and in the video after 1 hours 29 mins the osmo action 5 pro overheats and stops ? As a pop up shown on camera
Good question. It might depends on FPS rate. For example, in the current video, as you can see, I have been filming for 1:40 minutes until reached out of the SD memory card. And no battery issues with Action 5 Pro. However, Action 4 overheated after 29 minutes.
With 1080 30fps and in the reasonable outside temperature - yes, it should handle. In my next video I will show the test of the batteries under extreme temperatures for Action 5 Pro and Action 4. Should be fascinating.

It's a difficult comparison because there are so many differences. New sensor, new displays, new processing chip, even a new battery. Realistically, this is a brand new camera that has almost nothing in common with the old one. I ride my bike regularly and often have to go home in the dark. With the new camera the difference is very big. I tested the Super Night mode. I got even better results when shooting in 4k/50fps, horizon balancing, Color Normal 10bit, Shifter from 50 to max and ISO from 100 to max.
Thank you for your feedback! I agree, that Action 5 Pro is processing way better, than Action 4 in the low light condition. However, during the daylight - there not so many diffs. Also, Action 4 is shooting in Normal 10 bit. The RockSteady system is the same. And, if to insert the new battery 1950mAh into Action 4 - it might have even the same filming time, of course under the right temperature. @@SupersonicTraveller The differences during the day are also many. Even in your video they are visible. The video shot with model 4 is in some cases much darker, even your face looks different.
