[A 19x18 episode review nobody asked for] This episode sent me on an emotional rollercoaster, the nice sort of rollercoaster. I haven't felt that feeling while watching the recent NCIS episodes (pretending that Bishop and Gibbs's departures did not happen). Though it might not be as thrilling and nerve-wracking as the older 'emotional episodes', it was tense enough to make me repeatedly pause and scream silently while biting my blanket (yes, I did that). Also, I saw a similarity in Tony and Jeanne Benoit's case: he went undercover as a lover to catch an arms dealer relative, fell in love for real, and then departed. Another resemblance is that both were left by the women they loved, went through a miserable phase, and finally were able to let go while at the same time meeting new potential lovers (or so they thought). Regardless, it was a wonderful episode, and I enjoy it especially when the cases are closely connected to the team's personal lives or past (yeah, I'm disregarding Gibbs' rule number I-forgot-what). Nevertheless, I believe that it would be great if this episode is developed into continuous parts, especially because this case is so closely tied to Nick's first appearance (and his first encounter with Ellie). To summarize, I enjoyed this episode; I need more time to process my thoughts regarding Nick and Maria's potential future relationship, but I'm looking forward to whatever happens next, and I hope future episodes are written in the same emotionally engaging manner. And I demand Bishop's return.
To y'all who are still reading to this point: I love you, stay sane, stay healthy, stay happy. Watching NCIS and interacting with you guys are the things that kept me going on in life. Thank you for reading this short essay written in middle school-level English. I have an actual essay to be done but investing my time writing an episode review with no guaranteed readers seemed more interesting-boy do I know what was I on.
I don't know which part hurts more Nick being sad,him moving on or Bishop leaving him.But in one thing i am sure,he really deserves happiness.😭😭😭 But I also feel like this is the Zoe(the girl that called Tony spider) moment in Nick's life, that he will think he is over bishop, but he will realize he is not

Bishop’s return is very much possible. Not full-time, but is it likely she’ll appear in like a 1 or 2 episode cameo, maybe in season 21 or 22
I’m not ready for this….😭😭😭
ME TOOO 💔💔💔
