I softlocked myself this way actually. I had transferred most of my Pokemon to Gen 4 but hadn’t actually beat the elite four yet and must’ve lost my money losing to them. I had no money, no items and no high level Pokemon to finish the game, but I didn’t want to reset. I luckily had at least a Persian (and an amulet coin!) ended up just spamming Pay Day, battling trainers over and over and managed to train up a team and buy items to beat the elite four and champion.

Yes! I got a hitmonlee and decided to only use it for HMs. I typically don’t like to use more than 4 pokemon in these runs.

@@Edwardo111 Understandable. The first 5 gens feel like they're designed around 3 pokémon max, honestly. With more, every pokémon just gets so far behind in experience, EVs, and having to spread the good TMs thin that it barely seems worth it unless you just grind like crazy.

this is a great idea, i would definetly max out calcium , protein, carbos, so i can one hit , the elite 4 off the map
