    that looks like nelson boyd on bass in the photo thanks so much for posting this rare material and it evidence that hawk was not left behind like some other older musicians at that time that he was right in the forefront of "bebop" as well!! hope you all can tune into my ch here on yt as well? IT looks like the interior of a club? I am knot shore that IS curly? cant really see the drums? but if thats the way they recorded than you must be right? I have great seg of an interview with max where he talks about another first session with hawk "woody n you" and they started to cover his drums with rugs and pillows? and I sed" listen diz?.. if they didnt want a drummer why did they hire me? he sed this is the way thet record drums?
