In America sometimes there is a song that kids learn in elementary school called the 50 nifty states and it is all the states in alphabetical order in a song
Ok but why do you need to learn all the states? Like I get having the basic understanding of where the main states are and all, but your never gonna need to know all of them. I’m British btw. To be fair schools teach you stupid things, I have absolutely no idea when I’m gonna need to know about how glaciers are formed in Iceland and about the Romans 2000 years ago, but we’re still taught it.

Also him: **points at Wisconsin and the UPPER PENINSULA OF MICHIGAN**
Yea I thought that was hilarous, but I can kinda understand the confusion at least
The sad part about this is, there’s probably a lot of US citizens that couldn’t do this.
Maybe not on first try, but with this many tries almost any US citizen would get it. I doubt every European person could name every European country.
I can do it im 8 yrs old hes like idk 28 or somthin
I just said a lot probably couldn’t, I didn’t say nobody could.
In America sometimes there is a song that kids learn in elementary school called the 50 nifty states and it is all the states in alphabetical order in a song
i had something like this in 3rd grade, and i remember it vividly because the states talked and sang in the song and it creeped me out
I can sing the whole song rn lmao
I hate American schools they teach you shit you don’t need to know
He's said before that he doesn't wanna use a song and wants to know the location of each place
Ok but why do you need to learn all the states? Like I get having the basic understanding of where the main states are and all, but your never gonna need to know all of them. I’m British btw. To be fair schools teach you stupid things, I have absolutely no idea when I’m gonna need to know about how glaciers are formed in Iceland and about the Romans 2000 years ago, but we’re still taught it.
the amount of times the phrase *”I’m not from earth, I’m from missouri”* played in my head during this video
Have you heard of Wyoming, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, North Dakota, South Dakota, New Hampshire, Vermont, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Wisconsin, Missouri, Louisiana, New Jersey, Florida, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts Alaska or Hawaii, Puerto Rico(unofficial) Ohio Nebraska, Iowa Illinois, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Kentucky, Tennessee Oklahoma, Utah, Wyoming, Indiana, Michigan, Delaware. Canadian states! : Northern west territory, Newfoundland British Columbia, Montreal Quebec?
You don't have new Mexico and arizona
i don’t know if this is correct but the badge’s name, “nifty fifty,” may be a reference to a song called “fifty nifty” which lists all of the states in alphabetical order in a jolly tune. you should listen to it!
I can’t wait for Jack to learn the capitals
5:14 GET IT GEORGIA LIKE THE COUNTRY
this was painful
To watch and to Jack guessing them
As someone from Washington, I’m proud of you
I'm also from Washington
Your proud of this?!
Jack: Points to left side of map, "What's over here?".... "Ohio" 9:33
Snow Fall Family: Is thinking about the West; calls it left.
Omg someone in the world actually recognizes Ohio. Thank you. Underrated state btw.
Agreed, corn, National park for some reason, and 7th most populated state, and more corn. It's perfect.
Facts
@@shannanritchie1712 Endless cornfields and the occasional billboard that says “HELL IS REAL.” Welcome to Ohio. 😒😒😒😂😂😂
Jack “what’s over here. Oh we haven’t got Ohio yet😂
Jack: So we have Oregon, California, Nevada…
Me: And Georgia..?
Jack: South Dakota, South Carolina…
Me: And Georgia!!!!
Jack: I’m just gonna give up
Me: No, don’t do that-
Jack: *gives up* Louisiana, Georgia, oh!
Me: Yup.
Jack: *does 28 states that aren’t Georgia*
Me: YOU’D BETTER GET GEORGIA THIS ROUND OR I’M GONAN SMACK YOU
Jack: Oh! Georgia! Gee-orrr-ja!
Me: close enough
?
I feel like this whole country/state naming series is just all of us watching one man's descent into an inability to spell words correctly.
Actually Jack has developed a way to get lots of people watching and commenting on a 17 minute video. This gains him lots of Google/TH-cam points (just shy of 20 bucks per 1,000 ad views. Very clever way of doing it - well done Jack.
i live in maryland, i love how jack says mary-land but everyone in maryland says mare-a-lind.
A lot of people out of the US say mary-land
@@Love_mulch ohhh ok
Jack: Pronounces Illinois the first try
Also Jack: Mitchigan
Also Also Jack: Arkansis
Being from the US, this seems insane that he doesn’t know some of them but I don’t know most counties in the UK.
Edit: thanks to Ethan Bennett for correcting me
Nobody does
@@ethanbennett7 thanks

Hi, from Kansas. :)
If you want a challenge, you can try pronouncing town and county names here in Kansas. We have Osawatomie, Olathe, Pottawatomie, Ozawkie, Schoenchen, Tonganoxie, among others.
Other states have some doozies of town names too.
couldve been a great experience having jack learn a childrens song to remember the states
Everyone gangsta until Jack pronounced "Georgia" as _Ge-or-gia_ after saying the right pronunciation at 7:08.
He was just spelling it
You could try counties in England next if you dont think its too easy.
As someone who lives in North Carolina, I approve this message.
1:16
*Arkansas people even more triggered for pronouncing the name wrong*
To be fair, you're literally right next to Kansas which is pronounced completely differently.
I’m from arkansas
as a notible arkansan, I shall verify that this quite is ratherly correct.
4:42 hello from Ohio!
Knew it
Helloz from ohio
💀
Can’t even go on TH-cam in ohio but he’s gigchad
How did you get youtube in ohio?
Can you do this again with Canadian provinces? I find them very interesting!
Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut,Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana ,Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming

I find this very amusing because since I live in the U.S. I can get all of them in less than 1 minute lol
Same
Same here.
Same but I leave in Canada 🇨🇦
I can get them all but not in less than a minute because as a fellow US citizen I was upset that I couldn't get them all

How could you do that to Texas bro???
🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠
Should of used Clown emojis
I started laughing when I heard jack say “ Maryland cookies”😅😅
As a Brazilian who lives in the US I tried the quiz myself before I watched the video and I missed Nebraska, Iowa and Missouri, I never get the central ones, especially Iowa .-.
Jack doesn’t know the song. I can’t be the only one who was forced to learn that song in elementary school.
Aaaaaah-Laaaaaaa-bama …
But that’s because the only thing Americans learn about is America;
1. American History
2. American Geography
3. Americans version of Maths
4. American Science where all you do is Chemistry experiments and dissecting frogs
5. American PE?
6. Do American even have a music or drama class because Glee and HSM are two of the most famous series’ and they’re.. clubs?

When Jack spelled Massachusetts he was instantly smarter than all Americans including me (thanks spell check.)
Lol. Massachusetts being my home state I can spell it. But god forbid if I can spell Pennsylvania
@@cookieridergirl Lol, PA is my home state and I can't spell it.
0:18 Plot Twist: Jack may have practiced this quiz in an incognito window(possibly) to get at least 10 states
Jack youve inspired me to learn all the countries of the world and so i have! I also got really interested in geography and now ive learned all the states, im currently trying to learn the flags of the world but its really hard the only continent i fully know is asia!
