We attacked this unwitting Subaru with some basic cosmetic mods to help mask the soccer mum stigma surrounding it

Just a tip for people wanting to plasti dip the rims is to take your wheel off the car first then spray don't spray your calipers they can slip when u press the brakes making you crash or go off course and they could also cease up to which is pretty self explanatory which is an expensive fix for both I would highly recommend taking your wheel off your car before you spray

Imma be honest, the nite shades make it look sooo much better. Might do that in my 06 eclipse because almost full white taillights seem a bit odd to me.

There's no such thing as a stupid question ;) The foglights were done with ebay fog light film and the product used on the tail lights is called 'Niteshades' :)

^Something like this Joanne. The spray is just water. Cut the film to shape, clean the lights, spray some water onto the film after peeling it off the adhesive protector, use a credit card to get the air/water bubbles out, and then use a hairdryer so the tint will dry and stick

Also What if your Subaru doesn't have fog lights on the front bumper but where the headlights are like same area? Its like a covered hole with no purpose except for air circulation maybe?
Depends on where you live, google your local laws. We took the muffler off in this video, and afterwards he got a pipe to replace the muffler. If it's a covered hole then no air will get through it - chances are it's just a lower model which didn't come with fogs

Cheers man! Everything was from Supercheap, and we went through 2 cans for the wheels. Fog light tint was just 7 bucks off ebay (like 2 sheets) and we cut them to size

what is the muffler delete?
A muffler delete is simply the removal of the rear muffler. We just disconnected the two bolts holding it in place and removed the muffler.
So would I be correct in assuming that the muffler is no longer there? Great content by the way.

Hey man I saw your message through Wordpress - this is just universal lip which was like $30 off eBay and isnt specific to any car. He's now running "08-10 CS Style Front Lip For Subaru Impreza (Narrowbody)" by a company called Zero Offset.
I have an 08 Impreza 2.5i hatch and the hub caps are killing me..might just go the plastidip route and up my winter game. Could you shoot me the link or product info for that ebay lip? I like that a lot! Good stuff man, subbed.
Thanks dude! Can't remember which one it was but if you type 'universal lip' into ebay any of those will do. I honestly recommend a proper lip (around $120 AUD) as it looks SO much better and will actually last. I don't know why I'm looking at this... I'm 16 and legally can't drive(since I'm in the uk) but idk I kinda wanna car when I'm 17 that I can mod and make it sound and look nice(not in a ricer way)
It's how we all start out man, I was doing the exact same thing 2 years ago lol. Just keep watchin vids/attending meets to inspire yourself and when the time is right get a car that you can learn on (and don't worry about not being 'ricer', the whole point of modding a car is doing what you like, not what the TH-cam keyboard warriors say is right)

The muffler delete is the process of removing the bolts and separating the muffler from the midpipe - you don't have to buy anything for it. If you want a permanent pipe your best bet is going to a local muffler shop and they can bend some pipe and weld it on - that's the chepaest option

Seeing you dip rotor and caliper pained me. Next time if you're going to dip with the wheels on the car atleast put a plastic bag in there to cover those up. Or better yet remove the wheel entirely, and place notecards between the tire and rim.

muffler delete is not a mod. it doesnt help anything. it just makes it obnoxiously loud. the strip in front seems like it would fall off quickly so id use more than just the 3m adhesive that came on it. luckily my car has two layers stock. spraying the lights was actually kind of a nice little hack. the plastidipping is a very good idea, if not for customization for durability. on the cheap spray cans work. i actually dip cars as part of my business so it made me cringe just a little lol. to me good lights are a good investment. i have the brightest lights i could find and i cant imagine yellow helps with visibility and personally it looks way too ricer. to each their own though. and i know youre probably not gonna read this all the way through because i disagree with much of this video, but if you do tell your mate to extend his hitch by an inch or so. having it that close can potentially fuck his ride up. thats coming from personal experience. (lucky me it was my now ex's car, so i can laugh now) but seriously.

haha this video isn't really aiming to provide practical/functional mods - purely just super cheap stuff that people can do if they don't want to properly commit to the mod life (which as I'm sure you know gets ridiculously expensive)

You're better off modifying suspension and chassis - it's a lot cheaper and a lot funner than trying to squeeze power out of the N/A Imprezas

In this video we didn't even replace the tips - we just created a gap between the muffler and the mid pipe. The owner of this car is now running tips which have replaced the muffler though.

It wasn't that loud because it's got two cats and a resonator before the muffler. As for legality, I think all muffler deletes are illegal regardless of volume here in Aus

I actually like how it looks - it seems pretty clean actually. I reckon that's a pretty good deal, you could probably negotiate a few hundred off it after test driving it and making sure there's nothing wrong with it mechanically

It's just a universal lip off ebay - was like $30 Australian dollars, would probably be cheaper and better looking if you used garden edging or rubber garage liner tbh
