    I purchased a pair of Nike airs for 1000baht in Patong last week. By the time I got back to melbourne and only briefly walked in them, they had fallen apart. Lesson learned.

      Yes it can happen and often does, my girlfriend bought a 200 baht pair of shoes, they were 2 different sizes. Had the throw them away.

      Conversely, I got a pair of checkered Vans knock offs for 600 baht and they are awesome.

    Thai mentality if they are not making money because no customer is to charge more not do discounts so I’d say the quiet place will not be cheaper 😂😂……. But now iv watched it not many Thai businesses more Indian

    I’ve noticed that most of those shops are selling the same wares. I guess it all depends on what your time is worth in regards to haggling over a few hundred baht

    that was great bro, it’s one of the reasons we want to come to Thailand. The shopping ( haggling, I love a bargain hunt )that and the food, people and fantastic country itself. I’d love to get a list of the best markets from you both day and night around Phuket. Oh and what’s your name mate.
