Ugh this gave me the feels 🥺 I miss my time living in Oregon, it’s such a beautiful state. The pacific beaches, the mountains, the trees covered in moss, the morning fog.. it’s surreal. As a midwesterner I was BLOWN away.
Crater Lake is far and away one of the best, most unexpectedly awe inspiring places I’ve been. My jaw literally dropped and tears popped right to my eyes with the first view from the car. I threw that thing into park so fast and actually jumped out and ran to see it closer. (Solo trip on a randomly unbusy June day). Beautiful in the snow!
Any place, that as you approach it and all of your muscles relax and you sigh in relief, is a winner in my book. Pay attention to these subtle signs, your body is telling you something important.
I'm from Oregon and a transplant living in Texas... I can't even describe how much joy this vlog brought me. I miss the PNW so much.. it will forever be home.
Your constitutionally protected rights are better defended in Texas than Oregon. Oregon is full of tyrants. The previous governor encouraged people to spy on their neighbors at Thanksgiving. 😡
Oregonian kid...my uncle was a ranger at Crater Lake every summer. I was so lucky to spend time at the Lake with his family. Summer lighting storms⚡️ and first snow❄️ are my favorite times to see the Lake❣️
Watched Jessica's vlog yesterday while cooking and shes also cooking and watching Taylor's vlog and now watching Taylor's vlog doing my make up while she does hers....idk i just feel connected lol
This is my first fall living in the PNW since I was a kid; I live in Southern Washington; and it is so unbelievably beautiful I could die. I didn't think I'd get the colors here that I did living in Utah, but it's almost more vibrant here. And the fog wisping through the trees in the mornings... this vlog just made me appreciate it all the more ❤
I live in rural Oregon. Absolutely love it here, can’t imagine ever living anywhere else. Not many places like this where you can be on the mountain skiing in the morning, and end your day at the beach watching the sunset.
I’m from the PNW (Washington) but i’m always in Portland and I absolutely love Oregon. Im soooo torn on whether I want to live in more “rural” country areas or in a large city… the struggle is real. I’m so excited to see where you decide to live but also excited to see all the adventures you go on to get there! You inspire me so much, much love❤️
I live in Washington also and have been to bend a lot and it is absolutely amazing. My boyfriend and I stayed there and it honestly reminded me of something out of a movie!
I'm from Portland, went to OSU, and have family near Sisters, etc. etc. but you know I'm still going to eat this up! I live in Durham, NC now, so this is fulfilling some homesickness!
Howdy and welcome to Oregon ! I’m posting under my son here . I’ve been enjoying your u tube s for awhile now. Our state is gorgeous and has so many things to do. We have the best of everything here. You can head for the beach , the mountains , shopping , so much to enjoy . Have a wonderful time !
I don’t know if you’ve considered looking in Maine but Portland Maine is one of my favorite places on earth. Small walkable city, lots of surrounding towns with beach/nature/etc. Always a nice place to visit too 😊
I have wonderful memories of going to crater lake with my grandparents when I was growing up and I agree there is *something* about Oregon that is just peaceful and revitalizing at the same time. I live in Knoxville now and miss it so much!
I'm just going to say it (again!) - Nobody does vlogs better than Taylor Wynn! Several of the creators I watch on TH-cam have started putting out more vlogs and I feel just "Meh" about them, often scrolling right by. But, not these! I legit save them to watch until a point in my week when I can sit down and watch the whole thing! I love everything from the music, to the titles/text, to all the beautiful photos/videos (especially when traveling) and that you include all my favorite things - new places, food, dogs, make up, books... Great way to end my very busy day!! Looking forward to the next one already!!
Yay, Oregon! I’ve lived in the Willamette Valley for 30 years, I love visiting Bend. I feel like it would check a lot of your boxes…besides the dating one.
Watching you watch Jessica Braun's video about the Missha BB cream that I bought from your recommendation was the ultimate full circle moment for me! Also, SO not wishful thinking or anything, but I feel like I was getting some *romance* vibes in this video! Love you so much
Anyone who drove cross country to see the eclipse, in Oregon, in Oct....knows nothing of the PNW lol. I live on the North Coast of Oregon, and we were socked in. Thankfully, I saw the full eclipse in 2017 from Stevenson in the Gorge. So glad you got to see Crater Lake at such a perfect time of year! You got some beautiful shots!
Taylor was lucky to be in Bend for the eclipse since we're in the high desert - the opposite of what people picture when they think of Oregon😃The thing about Oregon...It's all gorgeous!
I appreciated this Fall vlog so much. I miss the beautiful colors. I use to live in the Midwest now in Florida. Every Autumn I live through photos of the beautiful trees. This vlog was fabulous and Crater Lake with the snow looked unreal. Thanks for sharing with all of us. 🍁
I was in shock at how beautiful Crater Lake was, with the snowy trees.... it looked like a movie set!! It was also heart warming to see the two of you having a lovely vacation together! Now I have to figure out a way for us to travel there, from the east coast. It certainly would be more than worth it!!
Ahhh loved this vlog! I’m recovering from surgery and stuck in bed for several weeks so it was nice to “get away” even if it was vicariously through you 🍂🍁🍂
Taylor! Oh my goodness, I could feel how much you love this area. Don’t discount this area because you went to college here. My besties are women I befriended in my twenties. We are sisters from another mother. I feel more at peace in the towns we became friends than even my hometown. Love this for you 😊
Oregon looks so beautiful! 😍 My favorite yogurt to make is a base of vanilla Greek yogurt, apples cooked in butter with cinnamon and brown sugar, and served with granola on top. Fall in a bowl! 🍎
Love your videos! Just a TIDBIT about the lagging with the headphones. It happens because of the bluetooth. Its usually fine for watching videos and movies and stuff. But for editing, where you have to sync audio and video, its essential to have NO delay. So you can use the cable in these situations to eliminate the audio delay. Bluetooth headphones usually come with extra input cables that people assume is just for use on planes or devices without bluetooth. But actually its there for PROS to use it to mix audio, videos, etc. Just an idea.
Been in Oregon for that last few months as fellow work traveler… Also a nomad, been all over the US. Oregon is hands down the most beautiful state as far as just the “look” and diversity of the geography. Healthcare may be the fault but I have had a really hard time with the actual people here. Way high strung that doesn’t seem to match the “outdoor Eden” vibes… but if ppl aren’t your thing, oregon is THE best state to be a nature hermit!
CUTTING BOARDS: Pretty sure that was an Epicurean cutting board. I have a few and LOVE them! They’re made from bamboo. They hold up well and do well in the dishwasher.
Crater Lake was beautiful! Yall really lucked out with perfect weather! We had a great "view" of the eclipse (I'm in San Antonio, TX), I got some really nice reflection photos! Enjoyed this vlog!!
Oregon is beautiful! I have been there several times with various seasons because we have paternal family, including my father and brother in law. Fall is definitely my favorite, especially for a California gal😊
Taylor can you recommend a choice of foundations that have a satin finish? An idea for a video maybe? A video where you give a choice of satin finish foundations, a choice of a glowy finish and a choice that has a more matte finish. I am a 66 year old lady that looks 20 years younger after looking after my skin by using skincare! I find I am more comfortable using foundations with a satin finish!
I know that Oregon feeling!!! I am from the east coast but lived in Bend for 2 years and I still cannot stop thinking about it. There’s no place quite like it.
I love Oregon. We get 4 full seasons. And where I live, I can drive 1 hour to the mountains and 1 hour the opposite direction and be on the beach. Plus there are lakes and rivers in between. It’s beautiful here!
Took me a minute because I seen pictures of crater lake on my life living in southern Oregon and working here when I was 18 and going up there at least once a year that there’s snow there now, we’ve had a pretty warm fall I mean it was like 78 in the valleys yesterday, so the snow kind of shocked me
I’ve lived here for almost 2 years and still haven’t made it to Bend or Crater Lake, but I’m hoping I can cross them off my list soon! You really can’t beat the fall colors here! I used to live in Colorado and the aspens were always beautiful in the fall, but the trees here are on another level! Safe travels!
If you visit Crater Lake in the summer you can take a boat ride and they will drop off at Wizard Island to hike for a few hours. So cool to see it all from a different perspective!
Kristin is absolutely adorable, I miss the fall colors. I grew up in New England and moved to NC . While the leaves here change, it's nothing like the yellows, purples, oranges and fore reds of the northern US
These videos always make me feel so naive to this country 😆 the entire PNW just looks incredible! And I would have never known if it wasn’t for your vlogs!
Omg!! Crater Lake and Oregon is beyond words. It is almost like it is computer generated. Beautiful!!!! Always here for your vlogs. Beyond an inspiration. Pulling for Oregon , just saying. ❤❤😊
My husband is in the USAF. We have lived in WA State almost our whole lives, with the exception of one year in Mississippi. We’ve been to Oregon hundreds of times, we think it’s pretty similar to WA. However, there is a very good chance we will have to move to North Carolina for his job. While the politics bug the hell out of me in WA and OR, I know I will miss the PNW and will forever leave my heart here. There’s no place like this area.
Was in Crater lake in 2019,we drove alot and were not sure we could enter because it had snowed.seeing the lake actually took my breath away ,i gasped and stopped breathing never saw anything so beautiful......it was white and purple.the next day they closed the park because of the weather.

I just got back from Bend😅, my mom hit up Crater Lake on her way home, too. It was nice, not for me but someplace everyone should visit once (in fall or spring).
Thank you soooo much for this video! Your editing skills are superb! The music, fades to scenes, everything is so very beautiful! I really appreciate it so much and the gorgeous landscape there! The trees are incredibly beautiful and just love the forest vibes, sun to snow all in one. I think this will be bookmarked to rewatch for sure! Blessings in your travels 🙏🏻😍
Wow the lake was so beautiful. I live 15 minutes from the Smokey Mountain National Park and Cades Cove. I love it here in the fall. It's definitely my favorite time of year. The trees here aren't as vibrant as years past bc we had a little bit of a drought this year but it's still beautiful. My grandpa grew up in Cades Cove and we even have a family house still standing called the Tipton House. If you happen to ever go to Cades Cove it's beautiful. Its about 45 minutes from Knoxville, Tennessee. I love your videos
love the pacific northwest. Live in washington. love going to oregon in summer. First time i went Crater Lake was before covid. couldn't see it clear due bad fires. will plan to go next summer..
Epicurean cutting boards! I have some with rubber feet so they don’t slide. Bought a 3 pack, definitely love them. Had them a year and they do get scratched up but not to the point I want to replace them. (I cook a lot, sometimes twice a day)
I love this vlog! I’m from Colorado and would have thought it was close to the same as here but I can tell it has its own uniqueness and now I want to visit.
The fact that you're watching Jessica Braun's vlog while you cook knowing full well she watches your vlogs while she cooks. You two are the best.
Agreed! The two of them are my top 2 favorites!!!
It's the continuity in the vlogimatic TH-cam verse for me lol
I was thinking the same thing! Love it! ❤ love them both!
Ugh this gave me the feels 🥺 I miss my time living in Oregon, it’s such a beautiful state. The pacific beaches, the mountains, the trees covered in moss, the morning fog.. it’s surreal. As a midwesterner I was BLOWN away.
I know right?! I live here in Oregon, on the coast, and it is beyond gorgeous!! 🩷
I miss Oregon so much!! 😢
You were in my town!!! You need to move here. You will love it.
Except they have a very corrupt government and the elections have been rigged for years. Time to fight for freedom especially in blue states.
I am blown away by how stunningly beautiful Oregon is.
Crater lake,one word breathtaking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I‘m sick (yes Covid is still a thing) and fell asleep last night watching the vlog so I‘m here again. Sending love out to all the people who need it❤
I think it’s funny that you traveled the world looking for somewhere to live and you might be choosing… the Pacific Northwest 😆
We will see…but it’s apparently hard to beat 😂
Love that you’re watching Jessica Braun while you’re cooking. 😊
My whole body erupted in goosebumps and my eyes flooded with tears at the shots of Crater Lake. Shot up right up on my travel bucket list for sure.
I'm from Portland, went to OSU, and have family near Sisters, etc. etc. but you know I'm still going to eat this up! I live in Durham, NC now, so this is fulfilling some homesickness!

Crater Lake has been on my bucket list for YEARS! The video/pics in this vlog blew me away!
The PNW has my heart. It's just stunning.

Didn't see anything this year, but 2017 one in Salem was a crazy weird feeling when it happened!
Your friend's cabin looks absolutely adorable! How cute and cozy 💖
You won’t regret living in Oregon! We love living here! 🥰🤗🌷💗
I live in Alberta close to the Rocky Mountains (Canmore/Banff) so this video gives me the feels! I never get tired of the mountain vibe.

My daughter lives in Bend. Her fiancé is a police officer there.

The weather in Washington this week has been perfect. 💗
Me, a 32 year old grandma watching you talk about the pumpkin spice cleaner 🤩 then two seconds later, being called out 😅

THIS. VLOG. All the fall feels. Thank you for sharing the beauty of Oregon. Crater lake is jussstt, WOW. Great mood setter for a Fall weekend!

I visited Crater Lake in July of 2000 and there was snow on the ground. Being a girl from Florida it was not only a beautiful view but I got snow too!
All the fall feels. Taylor, your blogs are my favorite. Ps - let me know when you find those cutting boards.
My husband is in the USAF. We have lived in WA State almost our whole lives, with the exception of one year in Mississippi. We’ve been to Oregon hundreds of times, we think it’s pretty similar to WA. YES that pasta sauce is THE BEST I've ever had!

I live in southern Oregon, and my husband and would love to retire in the Bend area. I love visiting every chance I get.

Well this vlog is the essence of the fall spirit! My husband and I are planning a PNW trip. We'll have to try and hit Oregon in early October!
