Viidennumero, Sääksmäki, Valkeakoski, Finland - Why?

At one of the best places a real estate in Koski is deteriorating year by year.
What the heck has happened to make this happen?
It would be great to see the place rise to new glory.
Now it mostly looks like a dump. :/
