No chemistry between Rick and Graham. Sounded like they were stepping on one another with the exception of a 30 sec pocket. Horns saved the jam and brought everyone in for a landing.
and they both stepped on the horns all night … this night really lacked a ‘Bobby’ … no one ever just played and held down the rhythm … just constant noodling.
Rhythm guitar is a thing guys. Way too busy on the top end, disappointing. The guy on the Hammond too...3 solos constantly competing. So much potential. Best vocals all the way around.
R.I.P. Phil Lesh

Felt that "I was blind all the time I was learning to see"
It was a great show! [Music starts at 4:15 here]
Live at the Parthenon
Breaking Dead…good to see Hank back on keys and Walter on drums! What a noodle fest.
Who is on lead guitar?
Better living through Chemistry
I paid for this and it's give. How do I get back to it? Any thoughts?
What do you mean by "it's give" ?
He meant it’s live. If you couldn’t watch ask for a refund. I doubt they were selling it on TH-cam.
@@N1ckfurie Thanks for your help. I was trying to watch it on my Roku TV. I ended up mirroring it from the Fans Live of my phone.
Literally help on the way.
“Phil” but can barely hear him in the mix. I’m sure it was better in person, but the webcast mix is terrible.
I noticed Phil is slowing down. Not as loud in mix anymore either. We all get old.

Graham steps on everyone
Splitting hairs. The fact Phil is playing at 83 years old should be enough to enjoy this. And it's his kid forging the tradition!
That's because Graham is not that good.
Surprised Rick keeps coming back to play with these guys. Graham sucks

I can't get into this goose guys voice
Nope
Kid sounds like Jack Johnson singing to a group of tween girls. I really don't get the fascination with Goose.

"the guy on the hammond"
Big diffbetween a good preformance and a good time. Glad folks had fun but this wasn't a great preformance, not even close.
Awful
I’m sad to say Phil Lesh is not a good person he is a bully
Source? He’s amazing. He inspires people to donate their organs. He’s cool
