We can’t expect all of the work to somehow get done in an hour 45 mins on Sunday during a service. We have to do a lot of that lifting outside the boundaries of the building walls and use Sundays as a support to what else we are doing to foster our growth during the week

My mind is blown 🤯. This word is so good! Pastor Chewning didn't even get to the book of Daniel yet, and a whole new world of understanding has opened up for me. I got to go back and reread Genesis.
God had me to stop reading book of Revelation and redirect to Genesis. So once I started reading it as my second time around, God revealed so much to me that I did not notice before. The Holy spirit have me to take my time in Genesis. I also is learning how important to know the genealogy of our descendants, it will help us to understand and study the Bible in a historical view.
@rondapointer6363 Amen! I always say, "Let scripture, interpret scripture." Agreed, historical context and genealogy are important as well. The word say, " Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the Lord your God that I give you." It's all important.
