Being is used in Present Participle in Passive Form. Having is used in Perfect Participle in Active Form. Having been is used in Perfect Participle Passive Form. These are called Nominative Absolute and Nominative Phrase.
e. g. 1) Being dissatisfied, he resigned from his job.
2) Having travelled for a whole day, they felt very tired.
3) Having been educated in England, the man soon got a job in India.
Gerund in Perfect Active Form:
1) We heard of his having won a prize.
Gerund in Present Passive Form:
2) Everybody is desirous of being praised.
Gerund in Perfect Passive Form :
3) There was news of her having been
lost in the jungle.
In spite of my being 75 years of age, I am very much glad of having been learnt all these good examples.
