In grad school, I was struggling to pay bills. One of my roommates graciously gave me his entire tax refund, over a thousand dollars, with no strings attached. I didn't even ask for it, he saw my body language on rent day. He pulled me aside with a check and said, "you need this more than I do..." 3 years later, I graduated but my job is the type that u don't make much money. Then I got married to my wife who was very successful. She had savings, a condo, so I no longer needed to live paycheck to paycheck. I asked my wife and I wrote a check to that roommate and paid it back. This argument that "I wasn't supposed to pay it back" is so stupid. You might not have to but it is kind of a good thing to do when someone helped u out in a time of need. My roommate totally forgot about it. Speaks to how generous he is. I expressed to him that I couldn't have graduated or be doing the work I do without people like him.

@@mikivanduyn9630 Oooo...please... I don't want to control her body, I don't even want to be near that body because of the tattoos. My comment is that I find it sad and ridiculous that someone makes a decision at such a young age that will stick with her for the remainder of her life. If she were older, that's a different matter, she'll have the smarts and maturity to decide if tattoos are what she really needs. But at this point, she can't even run her own life, much less decide to get a huge display of tattoos...so get off your feminist high horse.
BTW, fads come and go. Body piercings were a fad just few years back, now they're not. All those wearers had to do is take them out when the fad petered out. I had a Mohawk when I was a kid. When that died out, all I to do was cut my hair. Removing a tattoo when it's no longer trendy to have one is an expensive and unpleasant procedure.

when the defendant stated "i'm young" in response to the judge, that is indicative of a great injustice done to people now a days. she and others should take life more seriously in her 20's. tv and movies have convinced them to fuq up in their 20's then beg for forgiveness later in life. putting the cart before the horse.

From the research I've found, a Minor, as young as 16, can legally be emancipated.. but that still doesn't allow them to enter into a contract or loan except for federally funded student loans. So.. unless you can think of another reason.. I still don't understand how she could be sued in this case.

I know it isn't cool to be a grammar cop, but it really does irk me when someone says "I done it", "I seen it", "She didn't say nothing"...how does that sound right coming out of someone's mouth? It hits the ear wrong, and I can't imagine a scenario where I'd be able to say something that incorrect and not notice it. Also, you cannot "borrow" someone else money. That's like saying you "take help to" someone instead of that you "have help to".

    • @Black0bsidian
