I thought at first it WAS your Speedy, Tom! Maidstone is your own club track, isn't it? I see from the records that this Speedy came in second. I haven't seen the details in ME yet so I don't know what load the driver took on.
Yes a speedy did come in second, the articles have been published in ME now, and there was an excellent video created which is available on TH-cam covering the whole event. Maidstone is my club track, and I really must get speedy back in ticket.

Not mine, a friends… it is a great loco, I have one that doesn’t run quite as well, but still a good loco.
