"Don' you worry about that!" Classic Joh speak, one of Australia's most colourful political identities and an interesting one at that. John was a man of deep religious conviction and was always "Queensland First" he always stuck to his principles. Rest In Peace Sir Joh.

Thank you so much for uploading this. An amazing man and we'll never have another politician like him.

@HeathGallagher-xc1bh I'm sorry you have such a poor vision for the future and would rather be concerned with pointless social progression at the expense of having a steady stable life.

A man of integrity and vision

I don't think a Premier who accepted bribes and allowed the Police to rack up hundreds of thousands of dollars in bribes has much "integrity", least of all when you note he let the police burn down the homes of members of a marijuana commune and refused to allow an investigation into it.

There are many descriptions and adjectives one could use to describe Joh, but "man of integrity" certainly isn't one I could use with a straight face.
A man of conviction no doubt, but integrity was definitely not one of his nor his government's strong points.

      One of our greatest statesmen.

Former PM Gough Whitlam described Joh Bjelke Petersen as a 'Bible bashing bastard'.
Can't help but think there was a bit of truth in that.
