It is always a pleasure to see reactions to a vocal goddess like Park, she is one of the most underrated vocalists in history, in my opinion, one of the best of the last 20 years, she sings everything, she has a voice that is indescribable
I agree with you 1000% Yanki! I’m not sure how she does it but she is able to sing 2 different notes at the same time(polyphonic overtone singing). I have heard overtone singing before but Park Ki Young’s vocals have a different resonance and quality than those I have heard before. It is incredible when she does this. I will try and find which song she does this on and post it.

@@yanki198 Yeonan Pier is the song where Park Ki Young sings in polyphonic overtones. Another must listen to song of hers is “Spring Rain.” When I say the songs are a must listen to what I am actually saying is these songs are masterpieces.

Great to see your reaction Emerson. Glad to see you get this posted. I remember the difficulty you originally had. She has many great songs on TH-cam, some original some covers. I have read where her original genre of music was Rock. Though she has some classical training now, I hear it is very little. I recommend listening to “Yeonan Pier” and then “Spring Rain”. Park Ki Young sings some songs that are extremely difficult to sing, songs that other artists will not attempt.
The next artist you should check out is Zhou Shen from China. An incredible voice and the storyline is just as impressive.
