@@Sikottoacab True but you need the team to inspire the fans too. It works both ways but United fans are tired of watching basically ten years straight of uninspiring football (give or take a few short periods before the managers killed it after a defeat or two).
So satisfying. I live in NZ now, but grew up in Milton Keynes in the 1970s and early '80s. Almost every kid there supported Liverpool. They beat us in the 1983 league cup final when I was 13. A few dozen of the scouse loving glory hunters turned up outside my house chanting 2-1 and singing their stupid YNWA song. It was unbearable so I charged out my front door and tried to punch as many as I could. I was left in a bloody mess on the pavement and then pole driven (lamppost between your legs and they swing your knackers into it). Scum. I got the last laugh though. MUFC went on to win more than I could have ever dreamed of, while they had to wait 30 years for a title. The last time I flew over I was in the Stretford End. An Irish lad working the bar at the Trafford pub lent me his season ticket. Pretty good of him huh? They treated me like family in there. Offering me jobs, so I'd move there. But I had a good job working at sea. My health is dodgy now, so I do not travel well. I hope that was not my last pilgrimage to OT (it was mid 2000s the last time).
Best fans in the world
English atmosphere and fans are overrated.I love united but the atmosphere for that many fans is a disgrace
I sort of agree but yesterday it was absolutely amazing. Were you here?
