Most of the patches use the Virtual Analog oscillator.
The "bells" use Harmo and another patch uses the Two Op. FM oscillator.
I didn't save them all so there might be something else in there.
I never use the Karplus though, maybe I should try doing a patch with it.

Was this recorded with multiple tracks played live, or literally one take? If one take... this was amazing!
Multiple tracks, 7 takes in total.
MicroFreak only has 4 voices and is not multi-timbral so this would have been impossible in one take.
@@beneath_the_woods Still a great track. The vid adds a great immersive touch too! I've been on the fence on getting a Microfreak myself. On the other side of the fence sits the Minifreak. Have a Wavestate already and I figured one of these would compliment well.

I really enjoy the MicroFreak but I wish it had a 2nd LFO and more voices so if I didn't have one I would probably go for the MiniFreak instead. MiniFreak also has effects like reverb, Micro has none. The small form factor and ability to power it with a power bank is really nice tho, I like to just relax on bed or couch and make some patches.
I'd say it all comes down to if you want those extra voices, LFO and effects or if you prefer a simpler and smaller synth.
