Leanne, you are so Canadian in the very best way! We need more of Canada on TH-cam so thank you for showing Canadian designers, yarn, and humour. Love from Ottawa❤🇨🇦🍁
Thank you Leanne for sharing and inspiring us knitters as always with your accessory choices. Love your Hapkerchief, your Stockinette mitts, and your gorgeous Under the Ivy Beanie! Excellent episode!
Loved this episode Leanne!! You share you knitting journey in such a relatable natural way, it inspires me. My favourite of your 2024 garments was the Treysta, your colour choices are beautiful. Looking forward to seeing your project choices for 2025 from all the lovely corners of the world that you take us to❤
Wonderful video.Thank you for your sense of humour and insightful observations about your knits.I have recently discovered that raglan shaping is more flattering and comfortable for me than circular yoke although circular yokes seem so easy in comparison! I am now obsessed with your mushrooms -hope to cast on some fungi next!
What a fabulous year of knitting! Thank you very much for sharing. The Treysta has been in my queue forever. After this episode, I'm feeling super inspired. Happiest 2025 to you!
I honestly NEVER would have guessed it would be a go-to pattern for me! Knit my first Ranunculus in May of 2022 and found myself casting on a second one a month later… and on it goes!
Great special episode ! I wish you a wonderful year with a lot of knitting !!! And thank you so much for the *hiya hiya grandma's bind-off *, a game changer in ribbing ❤
Thank you for showing all of your gorgeous knits they are so beautiful you have inspired me tremendously to make the rununculus it's so beautiful on you...all the best for 2025 from NZ xx❤🎉🎉
I love your videos! When you made the “sound” while describing the Party yarn I had to back it up so my husband could watch 😁 Thanks for showing all your projects and telling pros and cons. I HAVE to make a chicken!
Beware the chicken!! My 13yo son has stolen mine and won’t give Henelope back!! I made another one for a work colleague and she is completely gorgeous, too. And they are so addictive…
You need to show off your gorgeous Sunset Highway Leanne! It's just soooo good and looks fabulous on you!! and that red cardi! *swoon* Thank you for that recap of beautiful knits! A great way to kick off 2025! Woop! I'm super inspired right now and want to cast on alllllll the things!
Thanks Sophie. I am baffled why I haven’t been wearing it!?! It really is a dream knit for me and I did it! Is it too precious? We have to burn the good soy candles and wear the precious knits. Right?? 🙈
It was a fun year of yarnie learning! And yesss I have to hug that chicken more and top smacking her chest 😂. It’s like a watermelon I can’t help it lol
Great video, love that you try the knits on to show us why you love them or don’t wear them and why. Very informative and I learned of some new designers from you. Happy New Year and can’t wait for what you make in 2025. ❤
Good for you!! You did a great job telling us about the pro’s and cons for the knits. I liked your Calgary sweater and congratulations to you for wearing it. I also liked the sunset Highway and think you should just wear it more! The colors are great together. Keep warm, wear your hat and gloves while u Run, good for you to run when it is cold out. Will be watching the next podcast also.
Thanks for a great roundup episode. I love your Ranunculus, especially the yarn and am searching furiously for it. As always, I am looking forward to your next episode. Cheers!
Love this!! I’m always happy to see another podcast of yours come up!! It is nice to see that I’m not the only one who has a few garments that have fit issues!! I have finally learned that I often need to modify round yoke sweaters to fit me. That involves a lot of trying on, but well worth it in the end!!
Loved this! My favorite knit if yours was that last cowl with the beautiful colours. My favorite knit this year was my pressed flowers cowl. Happy knitting in 2025.
That was so fun and I would have kept watching even for longer! I watch every episode of your podcast and I love it. I enjoyed seeing the "knitrospective" of 2024 because I remember all these garments from prior episodes when you were making them! The little camera around your hen's neck absolutely slayed me❤
I think your Sunset Highway sweater looks great on you! In fact, it was seeing yours when you finished it that made me add the pattern to my queue. You should definitely wear it.😊
Maybe you are sick of people asking, but please tell us what's the safest way to get our knits on board an airplane without issues 😉 I'd love a vid with flying and knitting anecdotes, or just what's the weirdest things you've seen up there! Loved your honesty in this vid. Happy knitting and regards from Seville!
Hello to you in Seville!! That is one of my most asked questions for sure. I can only speak confidently about how security works here in Canada and we are permitted to travel on-board with any type of knitting needle or crochet, hook, plastic, aluminum, bamboo, etc. Only scissors that are longer than 6 cm from the joint to the tip are not permitted - other than that we are good to go! I have had other knitter share that the following airports confiscate needles: Turkey and Brussels. So I think it’s kind of a crapshoot actually!
Happy New Year to you and your family Leanne! I thoroughly enjoy watching your channel. All your knits are wonderful and Henrietta with a camera! You could say she's a clickin' chicken 📸🐔 All the very best in 2025!
Clickin Chicken!! That’s brilliant!! Happy new year to you!! I would like to change her name. Can i get your Ravelry name to credit you with that creativity?
I totally agree that circular yokes are the hardest to execute!!! Why is that?!? I find I need them to have little positive ease and I prefer when they finish off with a raglan or leave me room to do that mod. Also I laughed so hard at the end “Please tell me if you liked this video. If you didn’t like it, don’t tell me.” 😂 I LIKED IT!
The messages and wisdom here in the comments are blowing my mind! So many of us struggle in silence .. but no more!! 2025 is the year of finding a good garment fit! The problem is I get sucked in by pretty colourwork yokes every time. 😮💨 I am so glad you liked it phew! 😅
Great to see you Leanne! That red cardigan is a stunner, add to queue! I also do not like the fit of yoke sweaters and have veered towards raglans more. Thanks for sharing all the goods & the not so greats, loved it all! 🥰
Hi Marie! What has me scratching my head is that it took a round up video and over half a dozen pullovers for me to realize it care for the fit of a circular yoke😂 I just fall for every colourwork sweater I see!
@@theknittystew It took me quite a few knitted sweater to figure it out as well. I will say my Blizzard sweater Jessica McDonald fits me very well. You might check that one out for simple colorwork. The coloring book raglan I am currently working on is raglan and it fits like a dream! Eye on the prize girl...stay in the lane lol!😁
Great review, loved it. I’m wondering if you could take off the neck collar (is that what it’s called?) and just finished off with a short rolled neckline? Just a thought. At least it may make it wearable. It so cute it needs to be saved. Love your sunset highway. You gave me much inspiration. Thanks!
Good idea to save it by doing neckline surgery and a rolled neckline would probably do the trick. At this point it’s still in “the naughty” corner. 😆 Maybe after a little more time apart.
Loved the video. I put several patterns into my favorites-the shawl, the stockinette mitts, the v-neck cardigan. I always seem to find something to add to my ever growing list of patterns. Happy knitting in 2025.
Your review was so much fun, Leanne! I really enjoy your channel and that you take us with you when you fly. I live in Tennessee and haven't traveled much but hope to make it to PEI some day. 💚
The ESC was my favorite knit of the year, I have made several! Love the mitts they look warm, and the mushroom so cute. I still haven't done color work yet, yours looks lovely, perhaps this is my year.
I LOVED your video. Saved it and hope to knit Cocktail! A piece of true trivia - my 4 th gr grandmother invented the cocktail. She’s described and written about in the book “ The Spy” by James Fenimore Cooper. Also, my mother was a stewardess for United in the 1940’s.
Leanne , I’ve waited to hear someone concur the challenge & disappointments re; circular yokes. I’ve continued to seek pattern after pattern to find that one that would fit just right. I’ve wasted my beautiful yarn, time & expectations to no avail & I have officially given up. It’s dropped, raglan or set in all the way for me. I get so tempted as they are so beautiful, especially color-work but I must stay strong & not give into the temptation, lol. Thank you for sharing. I never miss an episode. Since my husband is a 777 pilot your podcast caught my eye ages ago. Happy New Year.
Ugh! It’s so frustrating. The only two I’ve made that fit well are: Zweig by Caitlin Hunter and Humulus by Isabell Kraemer. I’m searching out new construction, but I too always get sucked in by gorgeous colourwork yokes!
So much energy today, Leanne! This was a fun episode. I've got the yarn for a Petiteknit Monday sweater, now i just need to cast on. It'll be my first adult sized sweater and i want it to fit like a sweatshirt over a long sleeve tee. Looking at all the circular yoke sweaters and the way they fit under the arms made me go for the raglan. I'm a loose continental knitter too! Your colorwork is stunning so maybe it's worth the fit issues. My husband needed hats to fit his large head so I think figuring out how to get the right stitch count and create hats he'lll wear has been fun this past fall. And I took one of the too small for him hats and knit a stockinette lining and now it's the one of the two warmest hats I've knit so far! Happy New Year to you and yours!
💓💓 I am excited for your Monday sweater !! That’s going to be a winner!! Feel free to send me a message on Ravelry or Instagram when it’s finished so I can cheer!!!
@theknittystew we have a great supply with a local distributor @Tracey's Rolling Yarn Shop. She has a trailer of amazing yarns some local to Nova Scotia and others where she travels around to communities sharing lots of knitting yarn.
What a great recap! Thanks so much🥰 My favorite knit of 2024 was Fern and feather by Jennifer Steingass . I used Aran woolen Mills yarn that I bought in Galway, Ireland on a trip there in the late spring.
Thank you so much, very enjoyable, honest and informative. Being new to knitting you have open my eyes to considering the style of the garment and if it will suit my body shape.. I did knit The Felix Pullover, Riptide Vest and a short sleeved Ranunculus this year, and was happy with the results of all three. I plan on knitting the Worsted Weight Fletching this year as my first colour work. Love your mushrooms & emotional support 🙂
Thank you Anne! You have knit a trifecta of excellent patterns! I was just thinking today of my Felix. I might need another. Happy making to you in 2025. Please add me on Ravelry if you think of it so I can see your progress!
That was a great wrap up. I’m with you on the circular yokes - they just don’t fit right. I do like a yoke combined with some raglan like the ranunculus. Kate Davies also has some yokes plus raglans, but most of hers are bottom up. That doesn’t bother me at all if I’m going to get the fit I like. I also like a good saddle shoulder or contiguous shoulder. And I learned the hiya-hiya grandma bind off this year as well. I’ve been using it for most garments at this point and love it. Sometimes I go up a size or two in the needles for it, but I find it to be very stretchy and so easy.
Leanne, I was fortunate to discover your channel in early September '24 and have watched and enjoyed every one of your videos since then. Not only have I learned a lot from what you've shared, but your videos have provided a source of relaxation and stress relief. Thank you, happy new year and I look forward to hearing more of your knitting experience.
Awesome podcast. You are always to upbeat and humorous. I love your garment. It’s nice to determine what fit is best for each of us. However, I think all you have is wearable as is, if not your favourite. It’s a lot of work and yarn to not make use of them just because they aren’t the perfect fit. Even for just wearing around the house is better than nothing but they are all beautiful. I also agree the emotional chicken is just precious and makes you smile. Happy New Year.
Great video 🎉🎉🎉 Happy New Year I like your videos because you have fun with your knitting and I see how much joy it brings. You keep up the good videos.
I loved watching this video and all the beautiful knits of 2024. The Sunset… looks good on you 😊 My favourite knit was probably my red Lovenote sweater. Happy New Year
Happy 2025! Love all of your knots. I have a ton of woolly socks that I love. And thank you for Anniina, the Coastal cowl. I have one on my needles. I finallygot a Mussleburgh Hat done too. ttfn
Leanne, you couldn’t be cuter! Thanks for sharing the plus and minus of your projects. I’ve watched you from the start and I really enjoy you and your videos. Wishing you a peaceful and healthy 2025! 🧶💕
I always love all your podcasts Leanne! All I can think when I see your Cowgirl Crop is how much my cowgirl daughter would love it! Do you have a niece to offer it to? It's so cute! Thank you so much for introducing me to the hiyah hiyah bind off. It's all I use now. A couple of other TH-camrs with your similar body type say they like drop shoulder sweaters, but I know you like things more fitted so I hope the raglan style fits you well in 2025. I think I'm going to buy the cocktail cardigan patten just to learn how to do the double knit button band simultaneously. Picking up for the button band always seems to be a hang up for people. I'm looking forward to your travels and knits in 2025!❤🧶
I do have some sweet nieces who might wear that Cowgirl Crop! It really is a fun colourwork piece for the right body. And you better believe I am moving toward different sleeve construction this year!!!
Hello Leanne, I always look forward to your videos, love them, and watch start to finish at least once. Awesome sweaters-even if there are little glitches with the fit I believe you’re right you just gotta find your fit and go with it I think 25 is going to be my year for socks too. Wish you well in 2025 and looking forward to your next video.
I agree, I think a raglan or a contiguous sleeve style suits you much better…..or maybe even a drop sleeve. Very cute hat…..too bad I’m not a hat fan. Stuffing with socks….thats genius! I have a stack of singles that for some unknown reason I’ve been saving now I know what I can do with them.
Thanks Kate. Yes indeed! The question I have to ask myself is: why on earth did I make half a dozen circular yokes to figure that out? 🤣 I'm definitely going to experimenT with different sleeve styles this year.
Happy New Year, Leanne! 🎆 Your needles were very busy in 2024 and your makes are so beautiful. The colour choices were fantastic with no jarring combinations at all. 😉 I hope that 2025 will be wonderful for you and I look forward to travelling with you again this year. ❤
Thanks, Leanne for your honesty re the patterns or yarns that didn’t meet your expectations. All of the sweaters were beautiful and inspiring. So many options and only so much time!
Really enjoyable episode. Your garments are lovely but I agree about circular yoke fit. I have just decided I like raglan sweaters better on my body shape. Thanks Leanne 🏴
Thanks for all the hard work you do in bringing these wonderful videos to us. Don't ever think they, and you, are not wonderful. I love watching your videos, and I am a crocheter! Happy New Year from one of your Canadian fans!❤🇨🇦❤
You are glowing in the Cocktail Cardigan. I love that cardigan. I love everything but especially the Sunset Highway and the Treysta brings back such wonderful memories of Braeburn. Must make one myself soon!
Lovely to see your 2024 round up Leanne. I agree with you about the circular knits, however that Jennifer Steingas sweater…the colours are stunning on you so I hope you use a similar colour palette in a style you like. I have knit a few of Tanis Lavellee’s summer shirt knits this year. Gotta love a v neck and I must say her Willow linen/silk base is so so nice. Thanks again. Hope 2025 is a great year for you. Look forward to your regular stewcasts. Christine, Australia.
Yes, figuring out garment fit is really a challenge! Thanks for sharing the triumphs and the fails. I don't usually watch these reviews but I knew yours would be interesting and fun.
I really like your Cocktail cardigan ❤. As I watch, I'm casting on the Merrymint sweater. It will be a yearlong knit, intending to be done by December for the holiday season. It's a circular yoke, and I've been back and forth all day on what size to knit. I think I'll pause and measure my upper bust, and go with that 🤔
What a stunning all-over colourwork sweater that is! I hope it comes out great for you! The projects on Ravelry look amazing. I’m starting to think I’ve just been choosing the wrong size or my shoulder shaping is what is causing my fit issues with the circular yokes but I really don’t know 🤷🏻♀️
I loved seeing all your beautiful makes. Thanks for sharing about the wins and the losses and the learnings. Your Cocktail cardigan is gorgeous and clearly fits you perfectly. I gasped when you said you hadnt worn your Sunset Highway - it looks fabulous on you. I totally get what you mean about the Cowgirl Crop - it is so uncomfortable when the neckline is too high. I have learned in knitting that we can't win them all. But we can learn from it. Your Ranunculi (plural??) are both lovely and I especially love the Under the Ivy Beanie. I am all about the hats at the moment and I have some leftover Biches et Buches so that may need to be a 2025 hat make for me. Thanks so much for sharing your makes and your lovely personality. Happy 2025 knitting. x
Thank you for watching Tash! I get so inspired and learn SOO much from your channel that it thrills me to give a little spark of that knitspo back in any way. Will this be my year to find my fit? I really hope so and THAT is my goal… but those darn colourwork yokes get me. Perhaps I’ll scratch my colourwork itch in accessories until I figure it out. Take care and happy knitting down under!
Great video Leanne!!! I really appreciate your honesty in talking about your knits and your energy is infectious. Wishing you all the best in 2025, I look forward to your raglans and set in sleeves 😊
I’m glad you produced this great year in review. I took a page of notes! I too knit things just to prove to myself that I can, but also to learn new techniques. I especially love patterns with links to online tutorials. You gave me 3 garments to add to my wanna knit list 😊 I was a bit surprised to find I only completed 3 things in 2024. I think gardening took up much of my time. I’ve made 2 pairs of socks (one a WIP) using the short row heel turn. They fit so well. My favourite knit was the Peacock tee solo. The final knit was the 1898 hat that has ear flaps and an interesting construction. I look terrible in hats but it keeps my ears deliciously warm. I’m almost finished Tin Can Knits Gramps for my hubby. All the best in 2025. Can’t wait to see what knitting adventures it takes you on.
I loved everything and I agree about circular yokes. But there are so many lovely patterns!!! Ugh, it’s a struggle. Best wishes for 2025. P.S. I love the Ranunculus and am starting my third soon.
Right!??!! I fall for the colourwork yokes every time but I can no longer ignore the fit issues. 2025 is the year of finding my fit!! Happy Knitting and happy ranunculus-making!!!!
Leanne, you are so Canadian in the very best way! We need more of Canada on TH-cam so thank you for showing Canadian designers, yarn, and humour. Love from Ottawa❤🇨🇦🍁
Hello 👋🏼 to you in Ottawa Elizabeth! What a compliment 😊🥰🤘🏼 Thank you so much. I agree we need more CAD knitting content on here!!
Thank you Leanne for sharing and inspiring us knitters as always with your accessory choices. Love your Hapkerchief, your Stockinette mitts, and your gorgeous Under the Ivy Beanie! Excellent episode!
Thank you so much Beth! Those are some of my favorites for sure. 😊
You are delightful, Leanne! Such a fun recap of 2024. Looking forward to 2025 with more knitting, travel and kitty-bombs! xoxo
Aw thank you! That is very sweet! Happy new year to you too! I’m excited for more knitting and travels (and kitty shenanigans) too.
@ 😘
I loved seeing all of your 2024 knits altogether. I especially enjoyed the brief Party Mix rave.
You should get that colourway. The beat plays in your head the whole time you knit with it! 😂 🪩
I loved this episode! Thanks for sharing both your wins and losses. ❤
Thank you Amber! I really want to figure out how to make garments that fit me well. Oh, and socks I want to make lots and lots of socks!I 😊
Always a great pleasure to spend some time with you! Thank you for sharing, and have a fantastic year 2025!
Thanks for watching Danielle! I’m looking forward to another year of knitting and sharing!

Thanks Joan! My goal is to make lots of fun things and figure out my most flattering construction/fit in 2025.
Hello lovely! You have taken on beautiful projects this last year!!
Thank you Selma! I have a lot to learn about fit. Sometimes I luck out - but I’ll get better at know what works eventually right?
@ 100% it’s part of the process!!
What a fabulous year of knitting! Thank you very much for sharing. The Treysta has been in my queue forever. After this episode, I'm feeling super inspired. Happiest 2025 to you!
Happy New Year to you too Jennifer! I hope 2025 brings you so so much joy in your knitting and designing. 🫶🏼

Thanks Jaylene! Show and Tell has been the BEST since kindergarten eh?! Never gets old.
Loved it to pieces! Thanks so much, Leanne! I’m with you on the itch for sock knitting. Happy to see you in the brand New Year 🧦🍂🤎🧡🧶💫🪁☀️
Allllll the socks allll the time!! I never thought that would be me.

Kaitland is wearing that sweater in a larger size. Beautiful execution of the colorwork!
Yes!! And she nails the oversized/effortlessly chic looks for sure!!
Thank you for this fun episode! I loved seeing all your beautiful knits! ❤
Thank you Anna!
One of your best videos yet. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Loved all of your knits. Great job. Have a great New Year. Keep on knitting!❤❤❤
Thanks so much - I really appreciate it Debby!
Thanks for sharing! Oh you knit alot last year, so good! Lots of great cozy knits to add to your wardrobe! (and hug a chicken!)

I really enjoyed seeing your past projects and your critique of them.
Thanks Donna I hope it was helpful. It really gave me time to think of what I need to be more aware of in 2025 - especially in terms of garment fit!
Loved this Leanne!
Thanks Carmen! ☺️

Great video, thanks for showing the 👍 as well as the 👎.
Thanks Sandra! It’s definitely not all rainbows and unicorns in knitting for me that’s for sure!
Lovely episode. Love your energy and your insights about your projects.
Thank you 😊
I still havent made a ranunculus…2025 must be the year! Thanks for another great sit n knit…
It is such a fun one to knit! Hop on the train … woot woot 🚂
Loved this! My favorite knit if yours was that last cowl with the beautiful colours.

Thank you! It is a beautiful knit and I must wear it more!
It was so great seeing your beautiful projects again. 🧶 I prefer raglans as well.
Raglan shaping is definitely a better fit for me I think. Going to really try and figure out my “fit” this year. Happy New Year Rochelle!

Yay Elena! Thank you and Happy knitting in 2025 to you too!
Your review was so much fun, Leanne! I really enjoy your channel and that you take us with you when you fly. I live in Tennessee and haven't traveled much but hope to make it to PEI some day. 💚
Thank you so much, Beverly! PEI really is incredible. I hope to go there for the fibre festival this year.
@@theknittystew Wonderful! If I never get there, I can still visit by "traveling" with you! 💚
Yay a knotty stew video…..
💓😊🥰
The ESC was my favorite knit of the year, I have made several! Love the mitts they look warm, and the mushroom so cute. I still haven't done color work yet, yours looks lovely, perhaps this is my year.
I feel like there might be more ES Chickens in my future too!
OOoo that’s so incredible! You come from a line of fantastic women!
Have an addendum: So fun to see your E. S. Chicken. I have knit 4. 2 for me and 2 for my son and his wife. 😂❤❤
The ES chicken is a winner! Love it so much. 🐓 🫶🏼
I just found you today.. I am a fellow Canadian from Cape Breton . I really liked your podcast. Thank you for sharing your talent
Hello to you Sherry out in beautiful Cape Breton! It’s on my bucket list. Where do you shop for yarn around there?
@theknittystew we have a great supply with a local distributor @Tracey's Rolling Yarn Shop. She has a trailer of amazing yarns some local to Nova Scotia and others where she travels around to communities sharing lots of knitting yarn.
Love your channel! Your knitting is stunning and this was a delightful episode!
Thanks so much! I appreciate the kind words! 😊 happy knitting to you in 2025!
@ Thank you! And a happy 2025 to you!
What a great recap! Thanks so much🥰 My favorite knit of 2024 was Fern and feather by Jennifer Steingass . I used Aran woolen Mills yarn that I bought in Galway, Ireland on a trip there in the late spring.
Gorgeous colourwork knit up in beautiful, meaningful wool is magic!
Thanks for sharing your 2024 faves plus your energy. Now I don't feel like i need an afternoon nap 😂
Happy New Year, by the way.
Thanks, you’re the best! Glad you are awake with me!
Happy new year leanne. Fantastic podcast, loved it. Thank you for taking the time to show us some of your makes😊
Thanks for spending your time watching it. I appreciate it Cheryl!
Beautiful sweaters. Love the red cardigan but they are all gorgeous and they all looked good on you. Thank you for sharing and Happy New Year !
Thank you Donna! So kind! Hope you have a happy knitting year in 2025!
Thanks Brenda ☺️I am definitely ready to branch out with different shoulder and sleeve construction that’s FOR SURE!
Thank you Ronda 💗💗 for watching and for your kind words. That means a lot to me!
Thanks Leanne for this most enjoyable video! I’m glad you decided to make one to talk about your 2024 projects! 🥰🥰
Thank you so much for watching Renee - I had a lot of fun making it! Happy knitting!
Looking forward to 2025 , I wish you all the best this year, safe landings🤞. 🙋🏼♀️
Happy New Year to you too, and thanks! I hope we all have some amazing yarnie adventures in 2025. 😁
I know. You are right. I like to think of myself as “particular” but I think I perhaps I’m a perfectionist. Oh dear!
I love that Cocktail cardigan, it looks so great on you and that color is stunning! Also so so glad you're enjoying your Under the Ivy beanie!! ❤
Thanks Michele! Ohhh yes I could see you in a red Cocktail cardigan.. your red Lyon Sweater is unreeeeeal. 🤩
Great video 🎉🎉🎉 Happy New Year I like your videos because you have fun with your knitting and I see how much joy it brings. You keep up the good videos.
Thanks so much Adele! 🤍✈️🌸 Knitting lights me up and never fails to bring me joy - even when the projects don’t turn out exactly as hoped.
I loved watching this video and all the beautiful knits of 2024. The Sunset… looks good on you 😊 My favourite knit was probably my red Lovenote sweater. Happy New Year
Oooo!! That sounds like a gorgeous Lovenote!! Happy knitting in 2025!
I was sooo happy to see you today. Thanks for your positive inspiring company as I sat knitting on a baby blanket.
Thank you Brit! Happy blanket knitting!
Happy 2025! Love all of your knots. I have a ton of woolly socks that I love. And thank you for Anniina, the Coastal cowl. I have one on my needles. I finallygot a Mussleburgh Hat done too. ttfn
Happy to hear that about the Costal Cowl and I should pop another Musselburgh on the needles for on the go knitting
Great video!! Enjoyed seeing your FOs and getting your feedback on what you liked and did not like and the whys.
Thanks Sandra!!
Leanne, you couldn’t be cuter! Thanks for sharing the plus and minus of your projects. I’ve watched you from the start and I really enjoy you and your videos. Wishing you a peaceful and healthy 2025! 🧶💕
Aw thanks so much! You are so sweet. Happy knitting in 2025!
Aw wow that is so nice. Thank you so much! It sounds like 2025 is going to be a good year for socks! I’m not the only one with the BUG!
Wonderful content and congratulations on your 2024 knits! Happy New Year🎉!
Thanks! I am so ready for good fits and gift knits in 2025, time to get my needles clicking.
Beautiful video, all your projects so inspiring to me!❤
❤️🥰🙏 thank you Elaine!
Hi! Loved your video and how you tell us what works and what doesn’t 👌 Happy new year! 🥳🥳😘
Thank you so much! Happy new year to you too!
I love the show & tell / year reviews. Thank you & happy 2025!
I love watching the recaps! Happy new year!
I really liked the video, to keep me company whilst I knit but also to see that not always a garment results like we want ❤
Thanks Sonia. I am determined to figure out my fit this year!!
Your needles were very busy in 2024 and your makes are so beautiful. The colour choices were fantastic with no jarring combinations at all. 😉
I hope that 2025 will be wonderful for you and I look forward to travelling with you again this year. ❤
Thanks so much! Happy New Year! I look forward to sharing my 2025 makes and travels 😊.
Thanks, Leanne for your honesty re the patterns or yarns that didn’t meet your expectations. All of the sweaters were beautiful and inspiring. So many options and only so much time!
Thanks Jennifer! Oh I really hope to have a better handle on my garment and fit preferences this year - knit and learn hey!
Really enjoyable episode. Your garments are lovely but I agree about circular yoke fit. I have just decided I like raglan sweaters better on my body shape. Thanks Leanne 🏴
I’m on Team Raglan this year for sure!
Thanks for all the hard work you do in bringing these wonderful videos to us. Don't ever think they, and you, are not wonderful. I love watching your videos, and I am a crocheter! Happy New Year from one of your Canadian fans!❤🇨🇦❤
Thanks so much for your kind words Barbara!! That is a very big compliment from a crocheter!❤️🇨🇦 Happy New Year!
You are glowing in the Cocktail Cardigan. I love that cardigan. I love everything but especially the Sunset Highway and the Treysta brings back such wonderful memories of Braeburn. Must make one myself soon!
Thank you! The colourwork yokes are so beautiful to make …now if I could figure out the fit of them 🧐
I’m loving your knits of 2024. I can’t decide which one is my favorite. Possibly that cowl you test knit. That is a stunner!
Thank you! Yes I love the Coastland Cowl!
Great video. I enjoyed all your projects and your critiques.
Thank you so much! It's fun to look back over the year and see what was loved.
I always enjoy your videos so much! Thank you ❤
Thank youuuu 🥰🥹
Lovely to see your 2024 round up Leanne. I agree with you about the circular knits, however that Jennifer Steingas sweater…the colours are stunning on you so I hope you use a similar colour palette in a style you like. I have knit a few of Tanis Lavellee’s summer shirt knits this year. Gotta love a v neck and I must say her Willow linen/silk base is so so nice.
Thanks again. Hope 2025 is a great year for you. Look forward to your regular stewcasts. Christine, Australia.
Thanks for mentioning Tanis’ summer shirts. And ‘stewcast’ !! I LOVE that 🤘🏼
Yes, figuring out garment fit is really a challenge! Thanks for sharing the triumphs and the fails. I don't usually watch these reviews but I knew yours would be interesting and fun.
Aww thanks Zoe!!!!!
Enjoyed your video! If you wear a bright pink under the last Ranunculus, the holes will show 😊
I'm going to try that! I didn't think of that! Great call!!
Great video, loved seeing all your knits, thanks for sharing. Happy New Year 🎉
Thank you for watching Dianne! 😊 Happy Knitting in 2025!!
Definitely enjoyed your video. My first time watching you, good job 👏🏻
Thank you so much for watching Patricia!
Loved this podcast, it was so fun to watch! JC from Iowa
Thank you so much JC!
I’m starting to think I’ve just been choosing the wrong size or my shoulder shaping is what is causing my fit issues with the circular yokes but I really don’t know 🤷🏻♀️
You have inspired me to make the cardigan! I made the mushroom trio by the way and I love it. Thank you for your videos!
Yay!! You won’t be disappointed L. The Cocktail is a sure thing. ❤️
Truly enjoyed your 2024 show n tell ❤ I look forward to seeing what you create in 2025 🎉
Thank you sister! Backatcha.
@@theknittystewthanks for reinforcing that we can customize a pattern to properly fit our body!!!
PS love the cat cameos 😻
Loved the video! I’m glad I stumbled upon your channel 😊
Thanks for watching and I’m glad you ended up here!!
Great video Leanne!!! I really appreciate your honesty in talking about your knits and your energy is infectious. Wishing you all the best in 2025, I look forward to your raglans and set in sleeves 😊
Thank you so much! It’s the year of the good fit… I hope 🤞🏼!
I’m glad you produced this great year in review. I took a page of notes!
I too knit things just to prove to myself that I can, but also to learn new techniques. I especially love patterns with links to online tutorials.
You gave me 3 garments to add to my wanna knit list 😊
I was a bit surprised to find I only completed 3 things in 2024.
Thank you Lesley! I am so happy to provide some pattern ideas and lessons I’ve learned the hard way. The Peacock tee looks like a winner 👌🏼
Enjoyed watching all your knits fir 2024, I especially loved the coastland cowl and your lovely Beanie hat.
Thank you Jeannie!
