Your last option sounds like a really good one. One stop[ won't be really expensive so thanks a lot for your great help! Our planning right now it to be at WX on the 3th of july from 9.30 till 11.30.
They were delivered new a year ago in August 2011, and we introduced over the coming weeks, so about a year now, although the odd decker does still appear
If you are travelling by bus it's no problem, as Travelcards do work on the buses to Waltham Cross. Sadly on National Rail they finish one stop before! Very odd. Either take Greater Anglia train to Enfield Lock, turn right out of the station, walk for 5 minutes or so, cross over the road to the first bus stop and take bus 491 to WX or, before boarding the Greater Anglia train at Liverpool Street or Tottenham Hale, simply buy a return ticket between Enfield Lock and Waltham Cross.
Meal breaks should never have been allowed to be scheduled away from the garage, that's one of many bad things to have come out of deregulation / privatisation. At WX KFC was nice and there is a decent fish & chip shop a few minutes walk, but that's an expensive way to provide meals on your break. Like I say, should never have been allowed.
Thank you very much, I'm planning to be there from 9.30 till 11.30. In 4 days I will travel all over London with a friend to take bus pictures and video's. Maybe you do have an answer on this one: Waltham Cross is just out the 6th Travelcard zone which I have cards for, so what's the cheapest way to get to Waltham Cross? Thanks very much
In a few weeks I will check it out right there, I really like all different colours of buses right there!

Hmmm... Waltham Cross is indeed a busy place for buses. I've never seen those new Volvo buses on the 310 before... when were they introduced?
Definitely some variety here.
Hope the weather holds fine for you!
If it's a bright sunny day, mid morning onwards is best. This was filmed between 1045 and 1200 today.

Oh... okay. I thought - "Hmmm... I haven't seen those before"
Do you know what they are exactly? Their models, engines and transmissions?
Sorry, I'm afraid I dont, if it's not an ECW bodied Bristol with a Gardner or Leyland engine then it'll be too technical for me, Lol.
Isn't it reassuring to know that Centrebus will run second hand crap anywhere.....?
Buses at Waltham Cross 2012
Indeed Lol
