Just to let you know that her life at the moment that is tricky situation I myself that’s professional and it has many challenges dementia back home especially in Africa many people will think that some one has run mad when it’s not. It needs someone who will understand her like Diane. Dementia is not cup of tea. It comes with so many challenges and behaviours where by she or he will forget he’s own family member and friends and so on. Good time as you look after bibi.
When a member of the family is unwell, everyone is under emotional or physical stress, that is why while you are young and healthy, try to be independent in every aspect of life and do your best to lead a healthy and active life. When a person is sick they are inclined to take out their frustration on the person they love most, so don't take BiBi seriously for what she says to you when she is upset, you need to have lots of patience, so happy that you have found someone to take care of her. To make meals more exciting, tell her that you are going to have a picnic in the garden because it is a beautiful day, have everything set up then take her there, play some African or Gospel music, sing and dance with her, cut her finger and toenails and apply the cream on them, or give her a body massage to relax her, let her sit outdoors with the farm animals around her, let the children sit next to her and tell them about their day at school, let her friends visit her for coffee and snacks. She will be more relaxed and sleep better by providing activities and stimulation. The most important thing is don't let her fall. A big percentage of people in the world have Diabetes but it can be controlled with medication, diet and exercise. Give BiBi a small piece of meat if she is craving it with lots of vegetables and gravy that will satisfy her and make her happy, work around the menu, instead of salt, add spices like pepper, lemon and herbs, but don't deprive her, she hasn't got long to go. Everything is in moderation. I also have Diabetes and lead a busy & active life. All the best. Cheers!
Bibi needs a walker to walk with she should not walk without it. She is too weak Plus. She is up in years. I myself am up in years and diabetic. I know it’s too hard energy is low and you’re always tired and weak even when you feel good, you’re tired and weakat this age
MH, CJ...hang in there. It sounds like Bibi has Dementia and a touch of Alzheimers disease. My gmom had both. She may start asking about her parents or just things in her past. Music helps...keep singing with her or get her something where she can listen to old songs/memories for her❤❤❤
Please don't throw the needles that Bibi will use to check Her glucose lever in that ditch. You must gather them and take them to the hospital for proper disposal.

Bibi.has dementia, dementia guys. It makes Bibi not know when she wants to eat or doesn't want to eat. You have to time it so that everything is in P😂erfect sink for her, especially because she's diabetic well done, though well done, keep it up.🎉🎉
