Steve, you have not skipped a beat since your recovery!! You look fantastic and I still pray for you daily!! Very beautiful car there, sure wished I could afford to buy it!!!!!
Thank you Mr Magnante and High Octane Classics - what a great looking Vette. I'm in the majority (at least as far as sales) the white looks fantastic on Corvettes.
You look much better and stronger as stated previously, and that's good to see. Yup, 1960 model year with the VIN for the win (from the HOC website): 0 for 1960 model year, 08 for Corvette, 67 for two door convertible, S for St. Louis, MO assembly and the rest is the production sequence. The St. Louis MO plant was the exclusive Corvette plant for a time up until the 1981 model year, when production was moved mid-year to Bowling Green, KY and has remained there since. Earlier examples were assembled in Flint, MI (a plant that also still operates today). The St. Louis MO plant closed in 1986. No tag, can't brag, but easy to figure out, no doubt: 867 for Chevrolet Corvette convertible, then a date code, possible S for St. Louis, MO assembly, possible 936 for Ermine White exterior paint, among other codes. With the exception of the 1983 model year, Corvettes have been sold to the public since 1953. Their nickname is often "Plastic Fantastic".
Man definitely one beautiful corvette! But my all time favorite corvette is definitely the 1963 split window fuelie!👌🥰👍 Great to see you again Steve! And great video!
C1's have never really been my jam (although a nice '57 fuelie peaks my interest), but this '60 is just gorgeous. James Schefter said All Corvettes Are Red (great book about the C5 for any Vette enthusiast).
I love the looks of the first gen Corvette. But I don't think I would want an original one. I would want to drive it and customize it. So I think a replica would be better for me. But I wouldn't turn down an original
And by the way, what the heck is up with Steve getting sick and looking extra cool a few months later?! I’m on the divorce diet and which is step up like this cool dude

Two priceless classics together: Steve & Corvette!
So glad you are progressing along with your recovery! Thank you for all you do Ray Perkins
Greetings from Sweden...

If a car has good lines like this Vette, it looks good in white. Ugly cars look horrible in white.
@@The_R-n-I_Guy Indeed. I never thought of it that way but you’re right.
Thanks Steve! Cool ride! 👍🏼

I was never a fan of these as a kid, but this is a beautiful car
You're not just a pretty face, Steve. You are Mr. Details! You are a mopar expert and most of the other classic muscle car era cars.
Looking better every week! Keep up your great videos!
Best regards from Uruguay so far away the souh 🇺🇾
You're doing great Steve!

Hey Steve!
Sweet 😊.
Steve great car! Even with black interior it reminds me of Casper the ghost.
Mr. B. Here ! Professor Steve in the class ! 📓📝📏🎓🍎
Hey Steve-O, absolutely incredible insight on this beauty fella' - BTW - where was the HORN on that "sport" steering wheel ?!? 🚘🔍. 🤔. Many Thanks Yo !
Yeah yeah nice car rare because of an undesirable option... but more importantly.. Steve's BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Looking good, Mags!
You Rule Steve!
Good job 😊
that powerglide is a deal breaker for me, Steve!
Steve is an "AMERICAN TREASURE"
Nice.

I often wonder how much more my mopar would be worth if Steve did the marketing video?
Headlight "buckets " on some C 2's were metal also.
👍👍
Early powerglides had a rear pump, so you could “bump” start the engine, just like a manual trans.
Don't overlook the 1961 shift pattern for the PG; L, D, N, R, P
Steve- which powerglide?
I love the looks of the first gen Corvette. But I don't think I would want an original one. I would want to drive it and customize it. So I think a replica would be better for me. But I wouldn't turn down an original
I guessed PowerSlide. 😄
And by the way, what the heck is up with Steve getting sick and looking extra cool a few months later?! I’m on the divorce diet and which is step up like this cool dude
He was indeed very sick and for a time, things did not look good for him. Fortunately, he appears to be on the mend and doing well.
100% secretary/ wife spec car
🖖
120-130 with a powerglide? I doubt it
Hope you're doing well Steve
