Riding to a NEW COUNTRY... JORDAN! (adventures in Amman)

Welcome to a new video and welcome to a new country! After 2 weeks in Iraq we have finally crossed the border and are excited to bring you the first episode from the beautiful country that is Jordan!
Today we are riding a few hours South West from the Iraq border, visiting one of Jordan’s many desert castles along the way, to arrive in the capital city, Amman, where we spend some time stacking up the history and vibrant energy of the bustling down town streets markets and cafes.
We are lucky to find a place to stay on Couchsurfing with the most wonderful family as our hosts - a huge thank you to Laura, Tobias, and Johanna!

If you have the chance, Try to visit again in spring (late february to early may)... Visit the springs, plains and forests of northern Jordan (irbid, ajloun, and jarash)
For plains and lush hills go to irbid, for forests and mountains go to ajloun and jarash
Historical monuments exists all through out Jordan, the roman ruins in jarash, salahudeen's castle in ajloun, um qais and it's phenomenal view of tiberia lake in irbid
