I agree, cutting your own hair is difficult compared to cutting a client, but once you start, you will not want to get your hair your cut by no one else again... money saving and you know how you want your haircut.
I always cut my hair at a 1.5 with the guard open. Why does mine look much lower than yours is right now in this video. Is it due to your hair texture? Or is it due to the amount of pressure you're applying? Don't get me wrong, I like cutting mine wave length so I'm not going to change it I'm just curious to learn more since I started self-cutting this year and I'm getting really good at it.

Jeezy you don’t have any classic 76’s… the clippers? With all around the same length cut with the grain those would be perfect For that kind of cut and you wouldn’t have to go over it but maybe three times
