Very nice nicole esposito. It sounded so amazing as always. You are such a great flutist.I love listening to the songs you play on your flute they are so touching.
Delicioso sonido y intensa expresividad musical. Tengo el placer de tocar con Claudi Arimany muchas veces y tu elegancia sonora es poco habitual, una maravilla. Gracias❤️
Its nice to hear a flute recording with almost no vibrato. Too many flutists today, use vibrato on every.single.note. Its nice to have a contrast of pure tone.
If anything I think it’s worth something more than to view it as stealing. I think it just speaks volumes to how great of a piece it is that not only flutists but other instrumentalists as well choose to perform it as well
The performance is pretty. But I think the composition is lame. There is a massive chord progression with long, fatiguing and intense flute notes doodling on top without much melodic coherence. There is no rhythmic interest and the lackluster disregard for interesting articulations, which the flute is so capable of makes me sad.
In terms of composition, I would say there isn't much room for rhythmic patterns and interesting articulations, given that it is an Aria. It should sound dramatic, lyrical and emotional. I also think the melody is phrased beautifully and keeps interest because of to the harmonic changes. But opinions will forever differ so no worries! :)
A chilly spring rain called for a listen to this.... lovely.
i am currently practicing this piece and this recording is so inspirational♥ what a wonderful performance♥
