Being thrown out by family is already hard to process, but realizing they took your money too? That’s beyond cruel, and they should be held accountable for their actions...

The fact that they kicked you out and stole from you shows their true colors. I hope you’re standing tall now and that they realize how much they messed up...

It’s appalling how they treated you, especially on your birthday. Taking your money and kicking you out is heartless, and they need to face the consequences of their actions...

I can’t believe they’d not only kick you out but also steal from you. How do they even justify that? You deserve so much better, and I hope you get justice for what they did...

Your dad’s betrayal hurts the most, he should’ve protected you instead of choosing your stepmom’s side. I hope you’ve found strength and a way to fight back for what’s yours...

This is so upsetting! Being betrayed by your own family, especially on such a significant day, must have been devastating.

When a family is unhappy, the ones who suffer the most are the children

Parents are supposed to support their kids, but your dad let you down in the worst way. Your stepmom’s actions were awful, and his lack of support makes it even worse...

This story is odd why didn't the grandmother be involved then she's visiting the house of both grandparents now living in the same house ????

The Dad is/was a leech. He assumed HIS father was helping to support OP and took the money willingly and greedily. Again, he assumed the money would just keep coming knowing full well that it started coming in AFTER OP's Mother died. This man is truly clueless. He lets his new wife kick out his child never realizing that the money would stop. I'm so glad that OP didn't fall for his Dad shameful and manipulative pleading and cut him out of his life. The maternal grandparents, and uncle, were initially selfish as well. Because they couldn't deal with their daughter's loss, they cut contact because he, her ONLY CHILD, reminded them of HER. They at least provided monetary support. I guess better late than never.

I hate how these people always feel guilt over people who treat them like actual trash. Yes I know these stories are fake!!!! But jeezus can we get characters with some spine!!!
