You don’t get the show if you actually believe this.
Him and Jess have always been groupies who never listened to their content from their local ESPN radio days, who have both just brown-nosed their way into overshadowing the stardom of Billy Gil as well as Juju being paired with Stugotz and being beloved by the beta Jeremy Taché type loser fans, who fail to see how successful the show has always been.
Long before Amin/Jess even knew about the show, it was highly successful in the same exact satirical tone in just the local south Florida market. Long after they move on and find another content platform to chase clout off of by hopping on their bandwagon of success in the same way that they’ve hopped on the Le Batard Show bandwagon, the show would continue to succeed just as much if not more.
In the town I live in we have a PK's Bar and Grill. Close, but no cigar.

Angel Reese responded to a question about being defended by teammates and people spun it into her being a victim, not taking accountability, and that she deserves everything because of taunting and trash talking on the court. It’s weird. She’s talking about her experience after winning a championship, where people overreacted to her on court antics, and detailed racial abuse, death threats, and AI p*rn. Why should she be ok with those things? She doesn’t have to accept that kind of treatment, it has nothing to do with basketball. And the majority is coming from people who just started paying attention to the game last year.
What you're missing is that she has a problem with her social media use. She chose this life....if she doesn't want the heat she can just get off social media. People don't have sympathy for things people are purposely subjecting themselves to for profit.

Who do you think made all the money the Fab 5 generated for Michigan...not the players, the sports media hated them but the people loved them. This show needs to stop talking about how sports shows ought to cover sports and just…cover them that way yourself. You have show! Do what you wish the others were doing and cover sports better! It feels like this show covers sports media more than it actually covers the sports sometimes. I agree with almost all of the critiques, but the meta-conversations get tiring.

The hurdle of women’s sports is not misogyny….. it’s that it fails the eye test 99.9% of the time. the most popular women’s sports are the ones where you can’t see the difference. This little rivalry has worked because an amazing shooter doesn’t need to jump out of the gym. if anything improves, there is not sexism. Because men support a great matchup, and a great skill….. they just can’t support something that looks like recreational league. Look at all of the TH-cam videos of the USA and Jamaica women’s relay teams. Nothing but positive comments because it still looks fast as hell. for the most part women’s basketball is at a lower level, than boys high school. A grade 8 All-Star team could probably beat the women’s national champions.
