From the very beginning of the game, I mained Lotus until I got Plume, even then it hurts to put Plume inside the party because it reminds me of the Kowloong fight and what she had sacrifice... 😢😭

If there's one thing the gaming industry never has to fear it's banger music.
This like a good handful of AAA companies producing banger OST/soundtrack. But for an odd reason, mobile games produce things I would say on par or just better then most
@@soksocks well, because it's music. With modern technology, you don't need a whole lot of people to produce a song with different instruments, since you really only need to know the notes and what kind of beat you want.
So even a single person can create really great music.

Most times would take an easy route, but some would go full-blown orchestra and do live performances with the music they've done. Just to show off, though it still something to be thought about

For me sound design is a MUST in a action based game,be it in your atacks and movements or the soundtrack in the middle of a fight,the moment everything ticks together you can finally feel all the game has to offer and PGR gotta be T H E B E S T mobile action game in that regard,if FEELS good to style on your foes,it FEELS GOOD to treat a boss fight like a dance,it FEELS GOOD to let that soundtrack flow through your veins making you raise from the ground and fight again and again till you feel the light of victory shining upon you,if any game makes you feel these things on mobile that would be PGR and i hope to see people talking more about the sound-design and ost in this game cause stuff like this deserves 5 times the apreciation it currently gets.

Metal Gear Rising Revengence. Still not one game out there that beats the tracks in this game. Closers online could have been a close 2nd but its a 2d mmo.

One is a woman who fought to the bitter end like a chad, and the other is a certified god of chads resisting the rot until his own end
Radahn did it all purely for his crusty and crunchy two steps of the coffin horse callen Leonard, from learning to control one of the four prime forces of the *U n i v e r s e* to literally stopping the Mordecai×Twilight jokes in his universe by simply keeping all the stars from falling even 3/4 dead. There are chads, there are gods, but the people who pull the greatest of feats for an animal are their own tier, even more when the animal then charges with them into battle without a single bit of fear.

Also, PGR's song is the furthest thing both aesthetically and genre from Elden Ring, Colin Stetson and Kevin Penkin is much closer I think, but whatevs.

I haven't cried over a mobile game ever...until this particular scene in this game.
I love PGR so much, been playing from day 1 and never missed a single day logging in or event.
If you love good music and story, you might like the game kuro worked on before starting their own studio, honkai impact. Very similar mechanically, even a similar moment of memories rushing forth during a battle. I enjoy both of them a lot and they're definitely both quite tearjerking when they bust out the vocal tracks.

It kind of reminds me of the Nier: Automata soundtracks.
Automata is a major inspiration for this game, a cross over event between the two has been confirmed.

Jesus christ literally *_every_* fucking level in that chapter has some sob story. Noan and Bella's story takes the cake, but there's also (just to name a few):
1) the mother seeking forgiveness from her child with her last piece of bread, only to be killed by him because he was already Corrupted.
2) the researcher who searched the ends of the earth for her sister, and her sister who went berserk after watching the very Ascendant she worshipped crushing said researcher.
3) the construct who loved Lucia from afar and resisted Punishing to the very end to die happy in her arms.
4) the terminally-ill girl who chose to become a Construct so she could stay by her Commandant's side, only for her Commandant to die right after - and the fact that we saved her just to watch her _fling herself into the Red Tide after him._
@@taxtabro for real, man. I never tearing up this bad with Honkai before. But, this chapter's story somehow hits me on the home. You can even see the Commandant was neck deep in depression after witnessing several 'side event', and it's a trigger away from ending their own life.

Oct 10, 2022 is when I started playing this game. Back then I didn't really know what I was getting into since all I knew then was this song. I didn't bother looking up any guides and all that, I went into it completely blind. Then slowly grew to love it. Getting to Kowloong Metropolis was nuts and contextually experiencing this song was hype yet very emotional since Lucia....
I really Hope this Game Continues to Grow in the Global side because they indeed deserve Attention for their hard work. And I hope Vanguard Sound Studio continue to make even more bangers for this and any other game OST they're working on

When I listen this song, If I have never played the game and heard of this game before, I would definitely think of a Bad Ending when the protagonist fights for the final battle and dies. The song doesn't have any sentences but the melody says it all, all I can say is wonderful, this is truly epic song. Thank Studio

Light spoiler below:
The protagonist was wearing a prototype gear to fight the boss, in order to break the limit of the gear, she has to sacrifice her memory piece by piece throughout the fight. As you grind down the boss's health bar, you also see a meter showing you how many percent of the protagonist's memory has been erased. Sad chapter. But there more to the story after this so I won't spoil more.
Ok it was a BAD idea put this as an *alarm*, it worked wonders to wake me up though.

@@Blank-gf6dd first 8 chapters are a little meh and the story is conveyed through a visual novel style with no voicelines whatsoever so if reading ain't your thing then there's that. chapter 9 is where shit gets interesting tho, still visual novel style but it gets deeper into more persistent and darker lore ( *cough **-selena-* )

I haven’t played this game, but the music has a very sad vibe. Nearly cried. A character rising up to the challenge, meeting insurmountable odds. The last stand, the final cry, and the last goodbye. Beautiful. No idea how accurate I am, but beautiful nonetheless

This song really solved my severe skill issues while fighting Qu as Plume, just perfectly dodged all the attacks and retuned them with my own attacks. It just felt like a deadly dance between us.

I heard this in the Elden Ring video I could not find it whatsoever, just finished watching someone's reaction to his Genshin video, and after doing so the god's of TH-cam saw fit to grant me the blessing of the song in my recommended after showing my devotion and loyalty to the eldritch ADHD being we all enjoy named MaxOr
I have been playing pgr since it was released just because of it's goddamn banger bgm and combat, but sadly it always bugged me how this game and it's music was very underrated because of it being a mobile game. But When I heard pgr songs in maxor's video I was so foking excited that someone atlast appreciated these masterpieces
@@saadnehal5248 dude same, even if its only global ive had the game installed since pre-registration and i wholeheartedly believe that this game deserves as much attention as games like genshin impact, its so good and the lack of attention it gets is criminal.

PGR Level OST's + Open World= Just a miracle of vibes, feels and views waiting to be unleashed.
Imagine hearing this type of OST's while you're out exploring and find a new area while on a cliff overseeing a new part of the world you've never seen. It's just some goddamn top tier fantasy type of stuff. Just imagine discovering a dystopian landscape while listening to the OST's

Gameplay wise it's good,
Got hard bosses, crispy gameplay, smooth controls, the only 2 cons is gacha and energy system
It's one of the better mobile ARPGs. Very fluid, crisp, gameplay and improves each patch. People like to say it's the Souls of gacha gaming, since it is more on your skills than whatever money you throw at it. If you care about story it has a lukewarm beginning from early writing syndrome, but the quality improves massively in later chapters (like where this song is played) and it's a pleasant read.
Even though it's gacha, it's not drastic as other games. The weekly premium currency is tied to just participation, not scores and ranking. On S-rank debut releases for characters, it is a 100% rate up in 60 pulls. A F2P who plays every day can guarantee to get the debut with ease. After debut the rates are 70% for re-runs, and if you don't get the rate up, you will the next attempt. Weapons are most of the time optional to pull. You can choose your A-rank rate ups at 80% chance in 10 pulls. But on debut, it's the same 100% chance. Other equips are just obtained by playing or grinding a bit.
If you need more impressions about the battle system, Rexlent's channel has a lot of stylish and unique ways of playing that make it even more hype.

don't let the first 8 chapters hold you back, there's pretty much nothing going on them other than introduction, meeting new friends & foes and stuff not really that of interest, and the global version is currently on a "filler" patch as well. but trust me, upcoming events are where it's at
just finished chapter 12..sheesh, the story got me emotional, and this soundtrack made it a much better experience
