Where i live there is a little pond with Kingfishers, herons, cormarants, geece etc and its a little oasis for me, its beeen a Godsend through covid and the passing of my daughter, nature does heal us and gives us hope and has kept me sane through the darkest days, was a little upset no mention of pork pies, i still laugh that you can climb mountains on your scotch eggs and chocolate and i sit on the settee eating similar things, love your videos Murray they have been a real blessing thank you for all your effort. xxxxxxx

Nice one Murray. Munro Top daft now eh. 😉 Think I remember your old video when you were up there. Looks a fine peak. Few years ago folk from the walking club went that way, then bagged the 3 & waited at Glenshee with a cuppa waiting for the club bus to pick them up. Hope your dad had a good birthday. Ma auld man is 80 this May too.

If doing this hill on it's own in summer, it's worthwhile following the Allt Elrig up the west side of it. There's a number of waterfall pools that are fabulous for a dip on a hot day, then there's an unusual striped rock stream bed section and a few hidden leafy nooks which all are in contrast to the fairly barren surrounding terrain

@@gary_248 I hear you, 100%. Maybe it's a sign of the dumbing down of modern society. Or maybe hillwalking, even when beautifully presented and narrated like in Murray's case, is just a bit of a niche subject 🤷‍♀️

After watching many of you videos, also many trips to Scotland sleeping in the back of my car wishing I had the confidence and knowledge to get into the hills, I have made the decision to do just that, your videos are amazing, from the drone footage to the simple bits to camera you do, everything I visit the North West Highlands I feel free and my mental health feels wonderful, is there a video of some of the equipment you need and use, as I haven't done anything like this for years and feel I'm out of tune with it. On a side note, your rough bounds video of above the clouds is the one that got me hooked, simply beautiful.

Thank you for another adventure. Its a Scottish thing, no fruit, plenty Scotch eggs, pies and wee drams. I do have an apple everyday to fool myself that Im leading the healthy lifestyle.
I climbed all the surrounding munros back in the 90s, but missed this. Sorry I didnt catch the name is it Mam nan Carn or Beinn Iutharn Bheag? Edit just seen at the end its Carn Bhinnein.

Ah, the arbitrary nature of bagging lists. If it weren't for lists many of us wdn't see the better looking peaks that aren't on them! And guilty as charged I've passed CB by on at least 3 occasions. Thanks for the inspiration Murray. Think i may do it this way or maybe from the Ben Gulabin side, over the tops.

Thanks David . In terms of the Munro status, I totally forgot to discuss this and was rushing through the edit - apologies . There is not enough of a drop between this one and the near bye Munro for this to be classified as a separate Munro - just a Munro top I think :)
