Nice one Murray. Munro Top daft now eh. 😉 Think I remember your old video when you were up there. Looks a fine peak. Few years ago folk from the walking club went that way, then bagged the 3 & waited at Glenshee with a cuppa waiting for the club bus to pick them up. Hope your dad had a good birthday. Ma auld man is 80 this May too.
If doing this hill on it's own in summer, it's worthwhile following the Allt Elrig up the west side of it. There's a number of waterfall pools that are fabulous for a dip on a hot day, then there's an unusual striped rock stream bed section and a few hidden leafy nooks which all are in contrast to the fairly barren surrounding terrain
I agree Murray, it's always good to push yourself a bit when you're feeling a bit lazy, never fails to lift the spirits and boost the energy level. And you feel so good!
After watching many of you videos, also many trips to Scotland sleeping in the back of my car wishing I had the confidence and knowledge to get into the hills, I have made the decision to do just that, your videos are amazing, from the drone footage to the simple bits to camera you do, everything I visit the North West Highlands I feel free and my mental health feels wonderful, is there a video of some of the equipment you need and use, as I haven't done anything like this for years and feel I'm out of tune with it. On a side note, your rough bounds video of above the clouds is the one that got me hooked, simply beautiful.
