@maxmagnum7 lapped bmw was blocking corvette to allow other bmw to catch and then corvette driver stuck hand out window and flipped him off as he went to serve penalty

@ChinoKawaii1021 He has 9 wins, 18 podiums, and 14 pole positions. The reason that you haven't seen him do anything else is because you are a bandwagon motorsports fan and/or a simple troll... Try again...
Thank you!!! Year after year he gets insane glazing while throwing valuable moments away. Just in the past 9 months, the 500, Detroit, Rolex... Meanwhile Christian Lundgaard barely gets any recognition yet got a win with RLL and consistently pushed that car in areas it didn't belong.
Bummed that BMW didn’t win in gtp. BMW in GTD on the other hand…. Idc what you say seeing the vette takeout the #1 was so satisfying, they had it coming.
That BMWGT3 looks nice and that guy who kept on going off the track at the start of the race is me in the Gran Turismo seven I always go over that track and go off that same area
so in conclusion with the vettes combined: spun the 81 Ferrari, rammed the 12 Lexus, pushed the 48 BMW off the track to overtake (which was before that BMW blocking), pushed the 69 AMG into contact with the wall (which led to more fighting between the two and the 77 Rexy Porsche loosing it's front bumper), spinning out and taking the nr 18 LMP2 with it and spinning the nr 1 BMW.
Basically the 48 BMW was *40 laps* down or something ridiculous like that, and was only on the track at all to purposely slow down the leading Corvette so that it’s sister BMW car could take the lead. That is not racing, so honestly the 48 had everything it got coming to it, it should have retired completely. As for everything else that happened, they’re just racing incidents, half the field in GTD had pretty serious aero damage for the race so nobody had 100% control of their machines.
In any race series, if it was a true level playing field, equal opportunity not DEI equity, GM would dominate, like they did in NASCAR and Trans AM, so in those series they all run Chevy power now, equity.
I was LIVID when the BMW took out the Corvette!!!! I could not believe what happened! I was thinking if this type of behavior is tolerated, IMSA lost all credibility. I was so happy for the Corvette payback! :)
If the ultimate goal for racing is attention CORVETTE won this race. Truly some dirty racing from BMW. It was justice that corvette returned the favor to keep them off the podium after such a stunt.
Yes I personally think NASCAR itself has been cheating all aspects. It's an unpopular concept but I don't want to see anymore wave arounds in racing. I understand that means some teams may dominate an entire race as a result because they are as much as laps ahead but best way to fix that is not make the cars also equal anymore. I think the whole BOP thing spoiled everything for everyone when they started pushing it and letting it dominate the sport.
@@germanenglishengineer2054 Exactly, it's like the equal outcome, instead of equal opportunity, take from the better and give to the worse, pulls it all down, on a level playing field, equal opportunity, GM would rule the world, and the Japs and Europeans can't have that.
Dries Vanthoor won't be fired for that. He just made a mistake. Racing is about risks. Sometimes you take risks and can cause yourself some damage. This is the business.
Why do the Corvettes have no horsepower, we all know in real life they are by far the most powerful, they even sound like they have a towel stuffed in the intake.
They should rename this race as ... "24 Hours of the worlds worst race drivers and pit crews"...! I swear the drivers must be getting extra points for taking another car out... and the pit crews getting tips for blocking other cars in the pit... LoL... I assume this is all very much amateurs...? ... I've seen better race driving at the local fairs bumper cars...!

Did you enjoy this year's Daytona 24h?

hell no because porsche won
It was my first one I really enjoyed it, maybe because I saw the bmw VS corvette situation
A bit cold but the racing was awesome 😎
@rmyap6741 porsche goated fym
Amazing racing, unfair racing, and a lot of drama. I thought it was amazing.
BMW vs Corvette drama and payback was juicy. Ben Sulayem is fuming watching this

😂 " the international sign for I AM FIRST" 😂
14:59 ever the diplomat, John is 😅
Reminds me of the classic Murray Walker line - ""I'm going for First" he says!" when commentating on a BTCC race many decades ago!
19:08 corvette #4 revenge
15:00. A big f you for blocking 😂
Sometimes you gotta make your own karma; nice work Corvette :) Wild finish to that race!
Love how the 3 primed his middle finger lmaooo.
Vette looking for payback on the #1 BMW
paybackfor getting hit after hitting several cars themselves
Vette smooth pit maneuver.
You do a better job with highlights than NBC does. Cheers and thank you!
12:06 a rare mistake from Herta that happens quite frequently lol
fr, I keep hearing people talk about his talent, but I haven't seen him do anything else other than just crash

it's so sad what happened to caddy #31, a crew with young drivers they were doing a great job
Bummed that BMW didn’t win in gtp. BMW in GTD on the other hand….

I'm kind of undecided on that, as the 48 BMW was pushed off track by a vette not too long before that, so it kinda was revenge going both ways
@lionljb Tbf it looked like the BMW was trying to squeeze the vette and force him to lift. And the vette was having none of it.
@@ZPaul_ At that point the Corvettes were just done with the Paul Miller BMWs.
Go to 15:03 to see the Bird! Lol

Crashes appen frequently in Daytona❤🎉🎉

wtf happened to the 75
Sad what happened to the bmw hypercar near the end of the race
Yes because Porsche won 👌
hold ur brakes
They clearly do all they can to hold the GM vehicles back, so much cheating in IMSA anymore.

All the corvette were driving really bad, bumping a lot other cars ! they should have been more seriously penalized for that

Some of the worst "professional" driving I've seen in a while. Oh well.
Great race but all the nascar type racing at the end is a turn off!
If only they could race on a real circuit, and not this oval abortion.
Imagine calling Daytona an oval abortion💀
worst take in history daytona road course is amazing
every series must only race on tilkedromes!!!! flat generic tracks with 1 overtaking spot are the best!!!
this comment is like saying “if only f1 raced on real tracks and not just street circuits”
Imagine being this stupid
