They’ve an incredible catalogue from the 1990’s to fall back on; I think they got 5 albums out probably the most consistent band of that stable back then great tunes.
They so miss the energy that Jon Brookes bought them.... He was one of my heroes growing up. I'd advise anyone to watch The Charlatans when they played on the White Room or their set they did on Naked City in '94. In particular, Patrol. That was the boys at their peak
I have a good friend in Brisbane Australia who used to be a lead guitarist in a well regarded band here. He is about 73yo now. Has a magic head of hair (but now) grey. Its in the genes. Some people get lucky ;-)
