I remember that program where Solar gave Purple Kiss advice before they debuted, where they had made a dance cover of Mamamoo's Hip and Solar told them that despite that they have done a good job, they were doing it like a regular girl group, that they needed to do something to stand out from the crowd, because every year a lot of ggs debuted. It's amazing how little after that, they followed Solar's advice and started covering more bg choreos with this energy, doing more covers from artists from other countries, showed their nice vocals more... Released Ponzona in a mature sofisticated way. Purple Kiss are amazing, it's obvious they are so hardworking and in that program it seemed they were taking Solar words very seriously. So glad it worked!

At first I thought Jieun would have the weakest stage presence in the group but she is literally on the level of Dosie, Chaein and Ireh and no one talks about her. She has such amazing expressions. And OMG IREH. I love the way she shines here after not getting a lot of spotlight during ponzona. RBW promotes them so well
I agree that RBW tries to be as even-handed as possible. I know some Tulips weren't happy that Ireh and Dosie didn't get many lines. But RBW made sure they were front and centre for choreo, and were allocated screentime. Sure enough, Dosie went viral for her smirk, and eyebrow lift, during their live stages.
