CONGRATULATIONS!!! A "oner" is so difficult, and this one IS SO COMPLEX!! I was a Finalist in the 2019 Single-Take Contest. I can really appreciate everything that went into this. It was a MONUMENTAL TASK!! So involved. So much choreography, including the camera movement and framing. A bunch of great people made this. Thank you for making it available to see.
I quite liked it, very well done. Not gonna lie, I did start laughing a bit during the fight, what with the bullet proof thin wooden table, the spastic flailing revolver aim, and the Star Trek gorn brawl. The fact that the whole story was told in one take, though, is down-right impressive.
She had an angel on shoulder. The armoror gets an A+ the sparks coming out from unburnt black powder around cylinder was awesome. The gun handling also seemed authentic. Cap and ball pistols are quite heavy.
They are quite heavy and actually failed on us a couple of times and didn’t shoot when they were supposed to. Luckily we could fix that with some VFX-magic.
Well done in many regards. Filming in one take really added to the immersion and realism. The 9+ shot pistols kinda distracted me a bit though. But I looked it up and there were 9 shot revolvers. So...bravo!
I could just see it now! Freakishly Cool! Like a third-person-camera video-game! And knowing after that's actually a one-take, even better! I could not resist to leave the comm...pliment! 😄
Nothing, or close to nothing. We spent some money on fuel to get to the filming location and had free coffee and cookies for all the actors and extras. We filmed the short in a western there park in Sweden called High Chaparral. One of the members in Tellway, Samuel, has worked in the park for several years and just by asking they let us film there for free. All the cast and extras are people who usually works in the park and are friends of Samuel, so they were already there and accessible. The key is to have valuable contacts, talented friends and show gratitude to everyone who helps you to make your project a reality.
What did I just watch? A heroin whos skill is moving slowly while no one shooting at her can aim. She shoots like she is having a seizure. And comes off as if she is more than Billy The Kid? Cool. Thanks for that.

I just LOVE these amateur "Westerns" were it's so obvious the actors have never before handled a real firearm -- not one of them. Great comedy -- I laughed from the first gunshot to the last....
Except for the "wild" and inaccurate pistol skills at first (hell, who knows, i have never had to shoot and kill anyone more or less a small town full!), the fact this was done in a single take, without cuts or scene changes, all in one smooth sequence is impressive. The beginning of the movie "1917" has a really cool single shot the follows the actors for ten or so minutes.( so i was told, who knows?). some talented people out there that is nice to see are trying to do it without netflix funding or supervision.in fact so many long winded series taking off after the game of thrones craze is getting old and should be saved for the really great stories and writers out there. Hell on wheels is one that dosen't get the attention it deserves, actually.
1917 is shot as a single-take film. You can see a few of the places where they cleverly cut, but it was edited to look as a single shot for the entire film. I highly recommend it.
We filmed at 9:30 PM during the summer. It was still pretty bright outside, so our colorist Rafal had to make it darker. You can see before and after footage at this link: facebook.com/photo?fbid=1110953743008577&set=a.981538872616732
I thought the lead character, Amy Mariah Catheryn Lewis (Amy Lewis) might be a real historical character, as William Bonney was. But I searched a bit and couldn't find her. So--just a fictional character is this story, I guess?
We’re thinking of creating a English-dubbed version of the audio once multi-language audio tracks is widely available on TH-cam. What do you think of that?

Thank you so much for the kind words!
LOVE HIGH CHAPARRAL@@tellwaypictures
That was impressive!! Especially to do that much in a single take! Bravo!
Standing ovation!
Fantastic, 8 minutes of masterclass viewing.

Wow!! She's a good shot, even with both hands. The last guy shot could take a lesson from Tuco: "When u have to shoot, shoot, don't talk."
Excellent short film. Awesome actors!
Thank you! Yes, the actors really gave it all everytime!
Wow, I didn't expect it to be so good, for sure it has to be nominated for Sundance or Cannes. I mean, this is pretty epic, good job!
But like, no
That was brilliant! well done, great to see a woman showing the she will take no shit from any man. look forward to other productions from this team.
Looks like a video game experience, pretty cool
Great movie.

It´s Swedish!

Ok until the middle school level fight scene started, that's when I turned it off.
And after those years, our freed was gone!
Suveränt Eddie
I wonder about those days.

Awesome, but I think those cowboys went to stormtrooper aim class
Fuckin' wild! Some Gal!

😂 Award winning lol- the magic 6 shooter with 10 bullets always fun. I'm sorry but if you're going to do a film about Billy the Kid- speak English
Disappointing until the left turn. Did not see that coming.
Not much of a story, but appreciate the gimmick of one take.
Inte illa. Riktigt snyggt.
Some kuppai
Mycket Bra.
So she rides off without a gun? Guess she can buy a new one but still...

That's correct.
i went to kiss in dalhalla 13 july last show ever in sweden
Why didn't one of you commenters warn me that is wasn't in English?

Strange English speaking, in a Mexican town
NOT BAD, NOT GOOD. It doesn't have to be that the girl's society appeared after the girl eliminated the enemies (without giving her any help).

A huge thumbs down! Just because a movie is Woke, only for the sake of being Woke, does not mean that it is any good and this one was not good.
Now those were some really bad shots......
I stopped watching after I couldn't understand the language... sorry...
There's subtitles available in four different languages as we speak!
Fort Sumner the first shot in the American civil war was fired there 😉 PEACE ✌️ Dublin Ireland
It is also where Pat Garrett killed William Bonny.
