My son used to work in the building where the Original Strawberry Studios were in Stockport. Also, I used to know Rick Fenn in Cambridge in his pre-10cc days. Somehere I have a photo of him with long grey-free hair helping to pack instruments into a van before heading off for a gig.
I wish I could have been there! (I'm a 56 year old fan from Quebec, Canada). I would have gotten an autograph by Stuart on my Pilot LP and Graham on my Animalympics LP! (and one 10cc LP too of course!) It's great to see all those fans coming for the unveiling! Thank you for the video!
I’m so pleased to have seen this and great to see the band get a good turnout plus is Graham Gouldman the nicest man in the pop industry , I think so after seeing so many of his interviews over the years . Shame that Eric Stewart didn’t make an appearance as he is on both Deceptive Bends and Bloody Tourists
Good to see Stuart Tosh again. Still feels weird: Strawberry Studio without Eric Stewart. I know why, but then again, there is a moment in your life you are too old for having arguments with people once dear to you. (Both of them)
What is the issue with Eric ? Does he not like Graham using the 10cc name when touring ? I had read that Graham now only talks to Kevin Godley of the original band lineup . There is good footage on TH-cam from last year at Royal Albert Hall, London of Kevin Godley singing his song “ Cry “ backed by Graham and the current 10cc band
@@christopherdavies3079 there are a lot of stories about Gouldman's and Stewart's fight. Some say Gouldman is wrong, some say Stewart is. I am not sure what to believe, but I think they are both wrong and should stop their arguments. Or you wont feel the benefit.
Thank you. Good to see and share. Loved 10cc. 🍓
How great is that?! Thanks for this lovely audiovisual record of the occasion. 🙏
Cheers!

A lovely day in wonderland Dorking....
Really great! Thank you! ❤
Time to revisit Deceptive Bends I think. So glad there will be a plaque to commemorate Strawberry South forever more.👏👏

@@legomattie3295 Yes very funny last quip which as a 10cc fan I got but what’s causing the arguments between Graham and Eric ?
