I left DU in my 1st year (2013 AIS Batch) to avoid being involved in politics. Currently a final year PhD candidate at a top university. No regrets whatsoever. But, it is good to hear these stories sometimes. I bet most students would have similar experience.

I can relate with you. I did some semesters in a private university of Bangladesh. Now I am studying in UTS Australia. The differences are out of the world.
@jobayeralmahmud6606 from the very first semester, we are pretty much involved with real life incidents that are happening. As I am from business background, we need to solve a lot case studies in every classes. Moreover, what we get in first semesters in bangladesh? We get subjects like History, Life skills and so on which are totally baseless.
But in Australia, there is not any specified subjects or dedicated subjects on these types of topic. But don’t we get to know about their history? Yes, we get to know. The history is spread out in number of subjects. Also there are a lot of purpose on those spread out history. Yet again, we do case studies even on history.
I used to study in UIU. I completed 4 semesters there. On the other hand, in UTS, I am yet to end my 2nd semester and my learning outcome is more than what I have learned in those 4 semesters.
There was no pressure in the first 2 semesters of UIU. But, I felt the pressure in UTS from the very first class. And the funny thing is, the perspective of pressure has been totally changed in my mindset. Now, I enjoy the pressure because I am learning a lot of things.
I missed a lot of things like assignments, presentations, reports. I already wrote 2 thesis papers in both of my semesters.
It is possible because UTS is 90th ranked University in the world. The comparison of Bangladeshi universities with UTS is already too much. But what Sunny bhai told is harsh but truth.

@@saifmohammadafnan1903 Sydney. But recently, it’s been 1 years since in Bangladesh, they have introduced UTS. It’s a pathway program type. The campus is in Chittagong. Students will study in Bangladesh 1 year from then on students can go to Sydney campus.

You are right that most DU teachers lack practical/experiential learning. However, the theoretical knowledge gained in DU is a good background for higher studies.
100 % agreed with you. Our education system is not up to the level at all. Whether its in schools or colleges or universities, the teachers are doing everything except proper teaching. I live in abroad now and here my daughter studying in class 8. She doesn't need any studying at home. Sometimes on weekends she might have some homework or project's, that's it. But i am always getting updates from her class teachers about the things she is learning at this moment by the schools own app. I am confirmed that she knows much better than myself when i was at class 8.

I cannot thank you enough for making this content.
I graduated with a BBA degree from a private university 9 years ago.
Throughout the years I felt the same thing. The standards are almost same among top universities. There is almost no one with experience of business background, teaching business.
Exception is DU IBA where many of my coworkers went to give lectures invited by the course faculty.
So the result is same, in this 9 years I haven't found any fresher after taking interview who has real life business knowledge. There were some few who actually did part time work during their study and they possesed good knowledge. So in reality whatever they learn they mostly learn from work or by themselves.

The faculty should be formed up with the combination of academicians and professionals of that particular subject. I did my master on disaster management from BRAC University in 2009-11. And our faculty was a unique one, combination of academicians and professionals from NGOs. And finally we could learn both theoretical and practical. I'm really grateful to my faculty members.
