Please don’t include e-bikes in mountain bike comparisons. If regular bikes were powered by fossil fuels, it might be a worthy alternative, but it’s essentially headed in the wrong direction.
The slash would be a bit quirky if its chain retention worked. As is, it's a bit of an eye sore. I hope Trek can fix those chain dropping problems on later iterations if they really think the high pivot is worth pursuing.
Have to say that BikeRadar looks as detached from the common rider as most of the companies going through difficulties. Not one single budget, or realistically mid-priced option here. All £££ full suspension bikes, not a cheaper hardtail anywhere. Perhaps why this videos views are so low? Time for a reset to bring you closer to your potential audience?

The "Best " bike is the one you like the best and can afford . all other forms of hype that are passed off as generalized best is all , well,,, hype

Changing the rear shock from 150mm to 145mm - sounds like a thing Apple would do.
5 mm doesn't make any difference, it's all frame kinematics and shock tune. I've ridden 140 bikes that feel bigger than 150 bikes.
