This is a powerful and insightful discussion, seamlessly interweaving personal neurobiology with spirituality. I am in awe and deeply grateful for this enlightening and compassionate discussion on the challenges we are collectively experiencing.
Thank you again as this conversation between the three of you has shown me how encouraging. People to share different perspectives with such grace and opportunities to view, understand and work with. Thank you Thomas.
This was really lovely. Thank you. As Dan was speaking of MWe and intraconnected... I was thinking of Thich Nhat Hanh's concept and contemplation practice of "interbeing" that is another lovely pointer to living compassionately in awareness of the continually relational, continually fluid, continually emerging, creative nature of life.
Thank you so much Thomas I really appreciate you bringing up this topic. Also your guests from two different backgrounds! It’s amazing how much shame we carry and is it hurts us. I see the different communities but I come from east Africa. I noticed the children experience shame in many ways One-way experience shame if their parents don’t speak English, they don’t want to be seen with that parent! And I don’t know the impact of that for the child and the parents that is one example of this immigrant communities we haven’t looked through! I’m so grateful for listening to you guys this for myself for my family and people around me !
