I really like your ramble about being a hopeless romantic, and being pragmatic towards relationships. It really take more than love to be in a committed marriage and relationship.
your yapping is the highlight of these videos though!! 😳 (side note: as a teacher who annually shows her grade 9 class the b&w tkam movie… you’re so right about atticus)
I relate so much to your perspective on relationships, I’ve never really had a boyfriend either (past my middle school crush) The one time I had a talking stage with a guy, I found out his girlfriend had just given birth to his 2nd child (all within a week of meeting him), really threw me for a leap and made me realize that I need more than just an ‘I like you’ to even consider hanging out with someone, much less dating them
9th grade: Romeo and Juliet, To Kill a Mocking Bird, A Thousand Splendid Suns 10th grade: A Midsummer's Night Dream, 1984, In Time of the Butterflies 11th grade: The Scarlet Letter, The Great Gatsby 12th grade: The Picture of Dorian Grey (I chose to read this!), The Death of A Salesmen (had to read in college too), Huckleberry Finn Probably more I can't think of.
Loved this video! I like how you show people that you can read a ton of books and still have time to work full time, workout, etc. It’s all about balancing your time at the end of the day!
i wish i had that relationship outlook when i was your age/younger. i was too pressured by people around me at the time. i really admire your views, even though i'm quite a bit older than you, they still inspire me!
My freshmen English teacher said we'd read Romeo & Juliet and then we never read it, I'm right there with you🙃 Gotta share my reads from high school: 9th: Othello, Night 10th/11th (had the same teacher): Of Mice and Men, Between Shades of Grey (by Ruta Sepetys), Enrique’s Journey, The Color of Water, The Last Lecture, Recitatif, The Alchemist 12th: The Namesake
I am an American but a Japanese men's volleyball team fan!!! GO JAPAN!!! I admire Ishikawa and Ran. This year was definitely Miyaura and Sekita's year though. :D
I had nice but not very good English teachers sophomore and junior year lol. So we barely read any of the books people usually read. Like I haven’t read To Kill a Mockingbird or Animal Farm or anything. I might go and try to read them so I know what they are about. I did read King Lear senior year and it was good but I definitely needed the cliff notes! I love to snack on goldfish while I read. And I’m always up for chips and salsa!
No but Chaos Walking really should be considered modern classics, like The Hunger Games. The way it treats revolutions, colonialism, toxic masculinity, AND has one of the most touching relationships i've ever read...sigh
You should read hope and red by kelley skovron. It has a slow burn where they dont even touch in the first book and its a trilogy but i only read the first!
Freshman year: the glass castle, Romeo and Juliet, the odyssey Sophomore year: Macbeth, 1984, Things fall apart, night, in the time of the butterflies (choice book)
We only ever went camping for vacation. It was probably because we were poor, can’t imagine my dad affording hotels at the time. He always brought a rug and put it in a two room tent and gave such homey vibes
Oh my god I read The Windup Girl in my college English class! Those *scenes* with Emiko were generally the most disturbing SA scenes I had ever read. We actually ended up telling our teacher that their needed to be trigger warnings for those scenes due to how bad they were.
Girl does those books have spice? I'm looking for no spice books to collect till Ramadan so I can read while fasting and I would love to read those books
My english teatcher would record the books we would have to read in school so we didn't have any excuses not to know what was going on in class( this was i danmark)
Sunny, how do you deal with “fake friends” who like leave u out of like hang outs and stuff just cuz “they know you’ll say no” and how would like join a different friend group, cuz liek i don’t wanna intrude a different friend group but at the same time don’t want to be with these fake people? also love the thumbnail :)))))
Girl I think the parasocial is getting strong over here with you like , we are all strangers over here But anyways Situation 1. : if you turned plenty hang out for a reason or other , you kinda only have yourself to blame Situation 2 : they don't want you around , and just being a little tactfull about it . ( they are maybe not friends friends mor4 of acquaintamces pr straight up dont like you) in 5his case I feel sorry for you take the hint and Expect nothing from them and try to find more deep connexions with other people And like if you dontnwant to intrude on another friend group , you can talk with people one on one , be friend one on one
@@RoshiniPrabakaran I mean your welcome Tbr when I was younger I remeber trying to be buddy buddy with the cool groups ,and like they were friendly we had fun but they were much closer to each other So I realised that you can't force friendship and feelings , the only thing you can expect is cordiality and good manner
Hi!! I'm getting my paycheck soon and im overly excited on spending it on some new books! Only problem is that I have no idea what books to get so I came here. For reference, some of my top fav books are Better Than The Movies by Lynn Painter, I Hope This Doesn't Find You and This Time It's Real by Ann Liang, The Inheritance Games series by Jennifer Lynn Barnes, and The Selection series. I also prefer no spice books 🩷 I'm a huge fan of Cdramas along with Kdramas so I lean more towards romance books with slow burns and sweet feet-kicking moments. Thank you!

Omg I’ve had the chaos walking books for so long, but you recommending it made me finally start the knife of never letting go
my favourite girl for reading inspo!!
My summer reading was Born a Crime by Trevor Noah, which is fantastic. So full of heart, hilarious, and already one of my favorites so it sped by :)
No but Chaos Walking really should be considered modern classics, like The Hunger Games. The way it treats revolutions, colonialism, toxic masculinity, AND has one of the most touching relationships i've ever read...sigh
It's weird cause I have also been in a bent to re-read my favourites, re-reading and annotation and all that stuff, something in the air guees😂
I love love love your content❤❤❤

You should read hope and red by kelley skovron. It has a slow burn where they dont even touch in the first book and its a trilogy but i only read the first!
i´m from spain and we had the most random books like we would go from 1500s classics to the worst book written in 2015 possible
I got ear buds with a microphone and every time I use them I feel like Sunny ❤
I have never gone camping because i'm heavily allergic to mosquito bites😂 also it doesn't really speak to me to sleep outside😅
Freshman year: the glass castle, Romeo and Juliet, the odyssey
Sophomore year: Macbeth, 1984, Things fall apart, night, in the time of the butterflies (choice book)
