I got one conclusion from the whole video. I will never go to Tiger II P. No matter what happens. Instead, I use the Tiger II Sla.16 because it is relatively fast and has good resistance due to the chain on the turret.
The 2 Sla is definitely the better choice.

i actually think the p is better then the H the has a smaller turret face and anything besides the t44 there is very little at those brs that can't penetrate both the 100mm and 185 mm mantlet so being a smaller target is the best defense
To answer the question in the title, no, the (p) stands for Prototype. Ferdinand Porsche had nothing to do with this one, although the Maus, VK45.01(P), and the derivative Ferdinand + Elefant were indeed his designs.
To answer a question that you _didn't_ ask: "King Tiger" is a misnomer coined by Americans who presumably didn't speak very good German during the war. The original German name, Königstiger, translates to Bengal Tiger, or Royal Tiger, named as such because the Bengal Tiger is the largest tiger species (or so was believed at the time).
On a tangentially related note: I can't wait for Gaijin finally run out of tanks to where they have to start putting in paper tanks - Maus II, PLEASE 🙏
