While I understand the teacher reached her breaking point she shouldn’t have done what she did as she could have gotten into a lot of trouble and as the adult in the situation she should have handled it differently.
It all depends on the time period too because if it was up to the 80’s teachers were allowed to put their hands on the children and discipline them.
