Hey Keelan. Yes i ran it on 12V the entire trip with the exception of the first evening. From there it ran non stop till we got back home. We drove a 10km two hour 4x4 route twice as well as a bunch of corrigations and it still runs perfectly. Im really impressed.

    Decent video mate.
This is almost exactly like my Flex Adventure 55L or the Alpicool fridges. The one covered here just looks like an older generation Flex.
I thought Flex made their fridges here in SA so either I’m wrong in that assumption and this is a common platform companies are just branding, or if the design is Flex’s then they are selling the older generation under a different name?

Hey Arkonza, thanks for your comment. With the exception of Snowmaster, Engel and National Luna, basically any plastic fridge that you can get in our market is made in the East. Not sure which country exactly. But the companies buy stock of a generic type of fridge and then add their branding to it. I dont want to mention names but the two companies sell axactly the same fridge, all the way down to the app and battery it uses, just with diffrent branding on it.
If you can find my Instagram, you can DM me and i will show you that almost all these fridges are generic. I was also mislead to believe that a certain brand's fridges where made in SA but found out that it is not the case at all. But thats business i guess.
