I am concerned about the top straps damaging my top (plastic) spoiler thingy on my hatchback door when they pull down. Vauxhall Mokka, 2013-4. Any tips please?
Hi Joseph, In my opinion, these are my recommendations to you: 1. You could check with your car's manufacturer if it is safe to install this kind of bike rack on your car. 2. If you decide to buy this kind of bike rack, limit the number of bike you will load and not max it out to three. Be careful when running in to bumps or humps along the road. 3. Buy a more secure type of bike rack e.g. hitch mount. I hope I gave you some ideas. Ride safe. Thank you for watching.

Hindi ko pa po sya na byahe ng Nlex Slex pero sa Edsa at Commonwealth ok naman basta ma secure nyo lng po ng maayos. Ok pa naman ngayon matibay naman build nya.
Di ko pa na try sir pero designed sya for 3 bikes. May nakita din naman ako ibang user na nalagyan nila ng tatlong bike, may technique lng din siguro paano malagay ng maayos 🙂
Hello, are the clips that are in contact with the car body (at the end of the straps) made of metal?
Yes they are but they are also coated with plastic, i guess to avoid scratching your car.
Can the horizontal parts of the bike rack be slid forward in the pivots so the foam contacts the trunk lid closer to the rear window?
Yes it can but i think that it will result in an awkward angle and for me is not a very stable position when the bike is mounted.

Medyo sir kaya dapat dahan dahan po tlaga pag may humps. Pero pag tama po pagka secure hindi naman tumatama.
