    Thank you- I’ve wanted one of these for years, and just bought this machine for snowplowing and a little work on our property. we live in Montana with lots of trails right out our door. After watching this, I think we’ll use this more for trail riding than we originally thought we would, which is great. I’d like my husband to love it as much as I do!

    Thanks for all the reviews on these machines that you've done. I've got a ranger xp1000 Northstar. What conditions would you use low range instead of high range when on the trails?

    I got the 22' ranger trail boss with ride command over the general, Im not sure if im missing out on anything the general has over the ranger but the ranger is perfect for what I use it for (trails, and I use the dump bed a lot to move rocks off my property). 60 miles on her and I couldnt be happier! keep the vids coming!

      General is probably faster and handles better but less utilitarian. Both great machines but like you the Ranger is so handy around my property. Keep me posted thank you 🙂

      I bought a 2022 General XP1000 last October. I've had 3 Rangers before and wanted the trail boss but couldn't find one at a dealer. Only real advantage General has over the Ranger is ride and suspension and more horsepower. I'm considering selling my General for a Ranger northstar trailboss.

    Great ride Pete ,nice area. glad to see a smooth trail not all tore up and whooped out. The sport has grown so much here in recent years and unfortunately the trail conditions show it. Lots of lead foot types ripping them up, back many years ago when I started going north to ride the trails were so nice. Firm and smooth and a joy to travel but the times have changed, the groomers can't keep up. Take care and enjoy the ride...

    Would like to see and hear about having 3 riders on front seat, and how is middle seat comfort.

    • @maraudermitchelli
      @maraudermitchelli  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Driving around my property 3 seated is fine, on an extended ride it would not be fun...that goes for any of the cab SXS's and I've driven them all and owned multiple units of Ranger and Defender. One adult and 2 children, or 2 adults and one child would probably work. I hope that helps.

      @MrUtubeobia 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@maraudermitchelli I have been on long rough trails in my Honda Pioneer 1000-5, with 3 adults in front seat. Wasn’t bad at all. I am looking at this machine to replace my Pioneer, and trying to decide on 2 door or 4. Would like the extra room for gear or riders inside, but would be losing ground clearance due to longer wheelbase. Getting tired of the dust and temperature swings while riding the Colorado mountains, and this Trail Boss would be ideal.

    So I’m in the market been watching your videos and am having a hard Tim picking between the defender and the northstar. In your opinion would you go with a northstar again or would you go back to an defender. Also not sure how long of a ride you went on but how are those seats compared to you old defender?

    • @maraudermitchelli
      @maraudermitchelli  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Brandon my money backs my mouth. I have a video where I compare the my defender, my north star and my brothers gator in my backyard recommend you watch. All are gr at machines you don’t have a poor choice. If I buy another utv it would be a double row Ranger. I had engine issues with my defender which I’ve mentioned in other videos.

    I've owned a number of UTVs but never one with an enclosed cab. I'm concerned the enclosed cab would make it hard to clean. Don't figure you can wash it out like a normal UTV. What are your thoughts?

    • @maraudermitchelli
      @maraudermitchelli  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The interior stays much cleaner as it is enclosed. I wouldn't take a hose to the dashboard but I hose off the floor and seats. On a groomed trail both the cab Defender and Ranger are fine, they ride to heavy for me to take on aggressive trails. I hope this helps stay tuned.
