Bangladesh's Ready-made Garment (RMG) industry, which started four decades ago, has become its economic engine. Over 80 percent of Bangladesh's total export earnings are from RMG. During the fiscal year 2020-21, Bangladesh earned. $31.45 billion in RMG exports. This industry not only earns foreign exchange but also provides jobs to millions of people. In 2015, there were more than 4 million RMG workers in Bangladesh. In 2020, there will be more than 4.2 million workers, which includes more than 1.7 million men and 2.5 million women. In this video, we will explore the robust growth and challenges of the RMG industry in Bangladesh.

ভাই, ভিয়েতনামের পোশাক শিল্প আমাদেরকে কিভাবে, কি কি কারণে পেছনে ফেলতে পারলো, তাদের স্ট্রেংথটা কোথায় এর উপর একটা অনুসন্ধানী রিপোর্ট করলে ভাল হয়। এই ধরনের রিপোর্টের ভ্যালুও অনেক হবে। বাংলাদেশের পোশাক শিল্পে এই রিপোর্ট বড় ভূমিকা রাখতে পারবে।

ভিয়েতনাম প্রযুক্তি গত দিক দিয়ে আমাদের চেয়ে এগিয়ে। ওরা অনেক অটোমেশন এডপ্ট করেছে আমরা তা পারিনি। দ্বিতীয়ত ওদের প্রোডাক্ট ডাইভার্সিটি বেশি। অনেক দামী ও অপেক্ষাকৃত বেশি লাভ জনক প্রোডাক্ট তৈরি করতে পারে। আমাদের বেশি কঠিন পোশাক তৈরির সক্ষমতা কম। আমাদের লিড টাইমও ভিয়েতনাম থেকে বেশি! আমাদের পোর্টে পণ্য খালাস হতে ১২০ ঘন্টার মত সময় লাগে। ভিয়েতনামে সেটা অনেক কম। আমাদের কোম্পানি গুলোতে মিড ম্যানেজমেন্টের দুর্নীতি বেশি। ওদের এখানে কম। আমাদের র মেটারিয়াল অনেক কিছুই ইমপোর্ট করা লাগে এতে সময় ও ব্যায় দুটোই বেড়ে যায়।

In technological side of rmg specially knit sector, even china can not beat bangladesh alhamdulillah. But for woven sector lot of gas is needed amd hogh investment required.
Vietnam do not need to produce raw material because they can import from china with in one day. So they can give shorter lead time
